Relevant to student need and interest in either current or future employment.

There are several students talking around the room. Some students are working on laptops, some students are
on their phones. There were two boys playing games on their computers.

Most of the students actively participated in their group.

All but two students were actively engaged in getting on the website and doing the research needed for their
project. Students working in groups were working well together for the most part.

Most students were engaged in the lesson. There were a pair of students who talked during your introduction
to the lesson.

*Suggestion: call on students by name during the review to require them to stay engaged and follow along
with the review. This will also allow you to check for understanding. Typically the students who know the
answer will respond.

Students listened quietly and politely to the students presenting.

Students were engaged in warm-up. Most students were doing what was asked of them.

All students were very attentive to and participatory in the lesson.

How is the technology being used? Heard you talking to students about issue with laptops - have you put in an
IT Assist ticket for this issue?

Technology was a big part of this lesson as students had to use vein gage.com to get the information they
needed for their assignment. Students also need to use this site to create the pictures, information, and
everything else that will be in the presentation.

The students used technology during their presentations.

Teacher has students searching for images to help with the worksheet. They were use the resources to assist
with nding latitude and longitude.

create. Teacher also had content and language objective clearly stated on board. Also, gave students the
homework or task to complete.
