1. Tugasan ini mengandungi LIMA(5) soalan sahaja yang disediakan dalam modul bercetak kursus ini. / This

2. Jawab dalam Bahasa Melayu atau Bahasa Inggeris. / Answer in Malay or English.

3. Muat turunkan templat tugasan versi bahasa yang berkenaan daripada LMS untuk penyediaan dan
penyerahan tugasan anda. Tugasan anda hendaklah ditaip dengan menggunakan saiz fon 12 Times New
Roman dan langkau baris 1.5. / Download the language version of the assignment template concerned
from the LMS for preparation and submission of your assignment. Your assignment should be typed using
12 point Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing.

4. Jangan menyalin soalan dan arahan tugasan dalam jawapan anda. / Do not copy the assignment question

5. Anda dikehendaki menghantar tugasan SECARA ON-LINE melalui LMS. Sila rujuk kepada portal untuk

1. In order to test the effictiveness of a training programme to improve students knowledge
on computer skill, data on knowledge level were collected both before and after the training
programme. Data on knowledge score are as follows:-

a. State the appropriate null and alternative hypothesis (2 %).


b. Test the hypothesis that the knowledge score before and after training is
significantly different at 0.05 level of significance (15%).
c. State your conclusion (3%).

2. The following set of data showing the distribution of student academic performance by
their place of origin. Academic performance is categorized into low, moderate and high.

3. A Professor is interested to study the academic achievement of three Master


programmes. Data on the cumulative grade point (CGPA) of samples from Master of
Education, Master of Engineering and Master of Arts are presented below:-

a. State the appropriate null and alternative hypothesis (2 %).
b. Calculate the total sum of square, SST (manual calculation) (2%).
c. Calculate between-groups sum of square (SSB) and mean square (manual
calculation) (2 %).
d. Calculate within groups sum of square (SSW) and mean square (manual
calculation) (2%).
e. Complete the ANOVA Summary Table (2%).
f. Run the One-way Analysis of Variance using SPSS and compare the results. Screen
snapshot the ANOVA Summary table. State your decision (5%).
g. Run Post Hoc test to determine which of the groups are significantly different
(using Turkey HSD). Screen snapshot the Turkey HSD (5%).

Y. To further prove this hypothesis, data were collected from a randomly selected sample

d. State the general form of equation for prediction. Find the value of Y when X=150
(4%).
e. From the coefficient table, test the statistical significance of the independent
variable (8%).
f. State your conclusion (2%).
