The work schedule defines working time models such as shifts, continuous working times, or flextime for
scheduling working time provisions for workforce or work processes, each employee should have its own work
schedule to be able to participate in Time Management.

The target of this step of Configuration is to have at the end of it Work Schedule Rules that can be used in
Infotype (0007) as employee available shifts, so it can be used as employee planned time which can be used
as a reference for Time Evaluation Program.

Work Schedule Configuration can be made through nine main steps which are as the following:

1) Define Holiday Calendar.

2) Define Work Schedule Structure.
3) Define Break Work Schedule.
4) Define Daily Work Schedule.
5) Define Period Work Schedule.
6) Define Day Types.
7) Define Selection Rules & Special Days.
8) Define Work Schedule Rule.
9) Generate Work Schedule

Now we'll do the first one, so lets see it in details.

1. Define Holiday Calendar:

In this step you define a Calendar that contain the Public Holidays that will be used in your enterprise, so if you
have different holidays for each branch in your enterprise for example so you should have more than one
Holiday Calendar.

To define the Holiday Calendar you need two main steps to do that, the first one is to define the Holidays that
will be used, then assign it to a Calendar to be used in your Enterprise.

Now you can define all holidays that will be used in your enterprise in the same way, so we can say now after
this step you can create a Calendar then assign the Holidays you defined to it to be used.

Note:

All you should to note that you must put the from year one year preceding the usage year, so for above
Calendar in the picture this means that this Calendar can be used in year 2015, so if you want to use it in year
2014 for example then you should to put from year 2013.
