ACCA P3 Business Analysis

Revision Plan December 2014

The key to success in the P3 paper is to understand what the Examiner wants.

First you must have a solid understanding of the models and then you must be able to apply them to
the particular scenario in an exam environment.

Revision at LSBF is all about application of the big 4:

1. Understanding the requirement

2. Scoring marks

3. Managing time

4. Building confidence

Below I have laid out all the Examiners past questions on a must, should and could basis. I
have referenced the ACCA exams that you find on the ACCA website.

Must do questions are the absolute minimum of question practise you can get away with.
Should questions are those that add to the wider understanding of the topic matter and deal
with additional factors.
Could questions will still add value but are either peripheral or alternatively are a repetition
of what you have already done.

Questions are rated as must do either because of;

Technical content (good for practicing knowledge application to the scenario) or

Question style (good for practicing exam technique)

Many of the compulsory 50 marks Q 1s are important for both reasons.
