Children in the last week seem to do lots of workbook because its the
last two weeks in the school. Thats why there is less activity and more
workbooks.
Measuring lesson was very easy to plan. It didnt take too much to plan. The
activities were picked out from the book any way and the children were the ones
who did everything in the lesson.
I started to teach the lesson by asking them to remind me with the last lesson
they took in the last math lesson and they were good and active, but they were
answering the question all together which was a bit loud and not very calm.
But I used a strategy that would make them stay quiet and answering by rising
their hands up. The strategy was staying quiet for few minutes and staring at
them and making eye contact with those who are noisy.
The lesson was so good, children very exited to measure real object in the
classroom, this is kind of the reason of being a bit noisy in the classroom.
But I think, in my opinion and as a teacher I love that kind of noise, when the
children are very excited to do something which learning.

After finishing the lesson and getting to understand that children get the idea. I will
move to the book to do some worksheets.
I actually did 5 different activities in this lesson, not four. The other activity that I didnt
mention in my lesson plan was a craft work for the low level student.
When I get to teach the lesson I start by the puzzle just to inform them with what they are
going to do.
They solve the puzzle and understood what we will take about. After that we have a
discussion about the four different seasons, what activities we do in and what clothes we wear
in it.
Children wear active and smart and they did respond to every single question I asked.
After the discussion we went through I explained the activity and then I divide them into four
different groups.
Something happened that I never expect was that, the student spend so much time doing the
activity, and more than I have expected. And think the reason is using the scissor. The
students were a bit slow using the scissor.
In my planning I was expected to do some work book and didnt have the time for that. And
this is what I think I need to work on in the next lesson.

When I started teaching the lesson it was nice and fun, I spend 10 to
12 minute during carpet time trying to represent the main concept for
the children. They did understand the concept. But I think the mess
started to happen during doing the activity.
Because the activity requires the student to move and pick a material,
I thought it was a bit messy, and in the future plan I think I would try
to have more classroom management.
But any way I think the children have enjoyed the lesson, because
after teaching the lesson some of the student told me that he will
recycle something at home which made me feel very happy.

Lesson reflection:
The season lesson was also so much fun to teach, so I get to teach the main concept the day
before I get to teach this, and the next day I followed the book.
After the children did the activities and understand the main concept of the season lesson, I
did the book work with them which was very nice, the activities in the book was very nice
and children didnt vey quickly because they understood the lesson very well.
The only thing that I think the children didnt get well was the name of the each season. I
mean they did get the main season, what activities we do it, and what wear in it and so on, but
they would could the summer season for example sunny and the winter season cold and I
would take sometimes for them to give me the right answer.
After fishing the book which it finished exactly at the time, I took their books to correct them
and giving it back to them.
After finishing teaching, my MST gave her feedback and she told me that I was good, and
most of her complement was positive which made me very proud.

Reflection:
Object in the sky lesson was so much fun. In the beginning I
face hard time to choose the right lesson to teach, I first choose
a math lesson that does not sound really nice and didnt
possibly need activities, because you need to focuses more on
the lesson the book tasks more than the activity, so I thought
this lesson would be boring
Other than this I think everything was great, and the big smile
on my MST face and her thumbs up made feel really proud.
