Feesandfunding
MostcandidatesofferedaplaceontheprogrammearefundedbysalariesprovidedbytheNHS,howeverwewillconsiderasmallnumberofoverseasselffunding
applicantsfor2014entry.Theoverseasfeeis20,000peryear.

Entryrequirements
Youmusthaveeither:a1stclassdegreeahigh2:1(ieaGPAof65orabove)orifalower2:1,aclinicallyrelevantMastersdegreeinaddition.Youmustalsohaveone
yearfull-timeclinicallyrelevantexperiencesuchthatyoucandemonstrateyouhavebeeneitherapplyingpsychologicalprinciplesinaclinicalsettingorengagedin
researchthatisrelevanttoaclinicalpopulation(egasaresearchassistantoraspartofathree-yearPhD).Theexperiencecouldbespreadacrosstwoyearsbutmust
equatetooneyearfull-time.Maturecandidateswithrelevantprofessionalbackgroundsandqualificationswillbeconsideredonanindividualbasis.

CandidatesmustalsohaveGraduateBasisforCharteredMembership(GBC)oftheBritishPsychologicalSociety.Forguidanceonthekindsofexperienceconsidered

TheClinPsyDisonlyopentoPsychologygraduateswhoareregisteredwiththeBritishPsychologicalSociety(BPS).IfyourqualificationsarenotfromtheUKorthe
RepublicofIreland,youwillneedtohavethemassessedbytheBritishPsychologicalSociety(BPS)toseeiftheycangrantyouGraduateBasisforChartered
Membership(GBC).YoumustdothisbyapplyingformembershipoftheBPSformoreinformationonthisprocessandonGraduateBasisforCharteredMembership.
