09/15 My fellow seniors and I, decided upon a song for the senior dance 1
and scheduled a meeting for the following week.
09/20 I spoke with Val about different creative options to advertise my 1
non-profit organization. We agreed that themed monthly donations
would be an interesting way to engage dancers in the donation
process.
09/29 The senior dance meeting was held at Le Studio Dance. Only a few 0.5
members attended, which is why it got cut so short. Val helped us
pick out the music and organize which parts of each version would be
placed in each section of the collaboration.

10/12 I researched which local dance studios accept donations. Most of the 2
studios only accept monetary donations but I found a few that will take
clothing donations. The studio I have already donated to is still in need of
clothing donations.
11/03 I organized the donations I have collected by item and size. This will help 1.5
the studios distribute these donations effectively.

12/07 I substitute taught two dance classes that Val was unable to teach and 2
would have otherwise had to cancel. For the first class, I organized a
warm-up, taught a traditional holiday dance and taught a new holiday
dance that I choreographed. For the second class (Junior Company), the
girls showed me that show piece they have been practicing and I made
constructive corrections and suggestions. This experience gave me an
experience of how to conduct a dance class efficiently while maintaining
an enjoyable atmosphere for the students.
12/22 I drove to Cambridge, MA to deliver a bulk donation of dance attire for the 4
holidays.

01/03 I communicated through a series of text messages with all of the seniors 1
involved in the senior dance to schedule rehearsals based around all of
their outside schedules.
02/10 I did research on the style of dance of which the senior dance is going to 1
be and found some new ideas for dance moves.

02/21 I created a spreadsheet to estimate the total value of all of my donations 1

so far.

02/22 I drove to Cambridge, MA to deliver a large donation of dance attire to the 4

Dance Complex

03/21 I held Senior Dance rehearsals at Le Studio Dance on these days that each 4
04/04 lasted an hour.
