 QUICK TIPS
Landmark Navigation System: One of the main goals of Diluvion
is to create a palpable sense of wonderment and deliver the joy
of exploration. The ocean is a massive and mysterious place,
so we wanted to provide the players with tools to position and
navigate themselves in the world. However we did not want to
strictly dictate their path forward, as this would take away from
the sense of exploration which the game strives to capture.
Therefore the game uses a navigation system which closely
mirrors that used by fishermen in the days of yore, one based on
landmarks and a compass. Throughout the game players will discover
new landmarks which will automatically be added to their world
map and compass. Players can then use these tools to help position
themselves in the game world, and then choose the direction that
they need to head towards in order to arrive at their desired location.

Getting to your Objectives Quicker: Besides the Map and landmark
navigation system, the game also features an additional system to
help players reach important objectives quicker should they so wish
to do so. Throughout the game, players will stumble upon a school
of Orange glowing fish which appear in the game world. Players can
choose to follow the trail of this school of fish to reach important
objectives quicker, as the fish are naturally attracted to key locations
and landmarks. This is optional however, as all key location can
be discovered by exploring the game world at your own pace.
Repairing your Ship: Diluvion features a crew management system
which allows you to recruit new crew and place them in different parts
of the ship. Each of these new crew members will have their own skills
and strength, so its up to the player to place them in the sections of
the ship that they think would best suit their qualities (in the helm for
example). However these additional crew members can also be left in
the main Crew Quarters, as they do not have to be assigned a specific
part of the ship. Doing so will enable them to carry out repairs on the
ship when you take damage, and the more crew members you leave
in the Crew Quarters, the faster they will be able to repair your ship.
Switching between your different Weapons: Players can
discover multiple types of weapons in the game, including
different types of bolt guns. Pressing the arrow keys on the
D-pad will players to cycle through the different available
types that theyve discovered during their adventure.

Keep Your Crew Fed: Besides needing breathable air, your crew
members also have to eat to keep their strength and spirits up.
Therefore players also have to keep a keen eye out on the available
food levels which is shown on the bottom of the screen. As with
oxygen, the more crew members you have, the faster they will
replete your food reserves. In order to refill this reserve, players can
purchase food in the stores available throughout the game world
and by salvaging food from other ships and derelict structures.
Refilling your Oxygen: Oxygen is one of the games key resources,
and players have to keep a constant eye on their available oxygen PLEASE NOTE: For the purposes of this demo, the
levels shown at the bottom of the screen should they hope to survive food does not deplete faster depending on the size
the treacherous depths. No crew can survive without it and the of your crew, however it does do so in the full game.

Thankfully players can discover additional oxygen tanks throughout
their adventure, which provide an extremely valuable boost to the
maximum amount of oxygen that can be stored. Another key way
to refill your oxygen reserves is to dock with most of the numerous
towns, bars, structures and ships throughout the game. Doing so
will automatically refill your oxygen tanks when theres breathable
air available in the buildings and ships that you docked with.
