Please explain. This clinical rotation was my first experience interacting and caring for psychiatric patients. | learned a lot and was able to improve on my communication skills. I also was able to define my role as a nurse and educator during my focused interaction and group leadership. Which objective did you accomplish during this rotation? How did you do it? During this rotation | was able to apply what | had learned in class about psychiatric nursing to the clinical setting. | completed focused mental health assessments for my patients, which was utilized by the staff on the unit. What are your goals for your next clinical rotation? My goal for my next clinical rotation is to implement what I have learned on the psych floor of Carroll Hospital. ‘Where-ever I go in nursing there will be psychiatric patients.
