ORLANDO, FL: Official request on behalf of the voters of Orange and Osceola counties to all media
outlets to demand answers to the following questions regarding the State Attorneys Office of the Ninth
Judicial Circuit.

1. Why has Aramis Ayala retained outside counsel to sue Governor Rick Scott whilst paying six-figure
salaries to lawyers in her office who do not have caseloads?
2. How much money is being spent on this outside counsel, and who is paying for it?
3. How many employees have left the State Attorneys Office after Aramis Ayala was sworn into office,
considering how many employees she terminated before her reign of incompetence?
4. What are the daily duties of a "Community Outreach Officer" who earns a six-figure salary?
5. How many jury trials have commenced with Kamilah Perry (salary: $130,000/year), Harold Bennett
(salary: $105,000/year), Josephine Colon (salary: $105,000/year), James Laster (salary: $86,000/year), or
Eryka Washington (salary: $80,000/year) as lead counsel during their employ at the State Attorneys
Office?
6. Aramis Ayala ran on the platform that she was resuming the intake unit at the State Attorneys Office.
Has that happened? If not, why not?
7. Why did Aramis Ayala think it was necessary to mention race in her suit against Governor Rick Scott?
Does she think her race entitles her to be treated differently?
8. Why was Aramis Ayala never held accountable by the media for running a campaign based on unfounded
allegations of racism against her predecessor Jeffrey L. Ashton?
9. Why have no media outlets reported that Deborah Barra, Aramis Ayalas Chief Assistant, was elevated to
that position, despite Aramis Ayala having knowledge of Ms. Barras numerous interoffice relationships in
violation of the policy and procedures manual? Why was an employee terminated by Aramis Ayala for no
other reason except a romantic relationship with Deborah Barra?
10. Will Aramis Ayala permit her Chief Assistant to remain by her side knowing that everyone believes she
will be directly leaking information to her office husband, Ryan Williams, who all agree will be running
against Aramis Ayala in 2020, provided she not be removed or resign.
11. Aramis Ayala is akin to a marionette for her political benefactors. We have discovered that Aramis Ayala
was far from a Death Penalty erudite; quite the contrary, evidence has surfaced that Aramis Ayala was
spoon-fed talking points by an anti-death penalty interest group.
