Course Title: THERMAL HYDRAULICS AND HEAT TRANSFER Credit Units: 4 CREDIT
UNITS
Course Level: UG Course Code: NST401 3 1 0 0 4
Course Objectives:
Thermal hydraulics is the study of hydraulic flow in thermal systems. Heat transfer in systems takes place by different modes depending on the
medium.
In a nuclear reactor typical thermo hydraulic problems involve the process of heat transfer from structural material to the coolant.
Course material introduces the student to fundamentals of the processes involved..

Pre-requisites: NIL
