Dear Mrs. McGovern:
This is Jennifer Ledezma representing Technically Incorporated, an organization dedicated to
making the world a better place through clever technology. We would like to present you with a project
that has the potential to save the lives of people across America: the Quick Response First Aid system,
also known as QRFA.
Often, bystanders are unable or unwilling to help victims of medical emergencies. They are
unaware of basic first aid, dont know how to deal with medical emergencies that are uncommon, and can
be paralyzed by the bystander effect. QRFAs goal is to eliminate those barriers by encoding the
instructions for how to administer individualized first aid in a QR Code that can be worn on the body of a
person at risk of medical emergencies.
The system works like this. The at-risk person uploads their medical info to the QRFA online
code creator, choosing which information should be encoded and which information should be kept
private. The at-risk person also can add special instructions for how to treat them, and legal info, like
consent to be treated by a bystander or a DNR order. This info is encoded in a QR code that can be
printed out, made into a sticker, engraved in a bracelet, etc. In case of a medical emergency, the QR code
can be scanned by a bystander with the QRFA app. The app will use all of the information encoded in the
QR code to create a step by step guide to treating this particular person, taking into account location,
symptoms, and medical law.
QRFA and American Red Cross are both corporations whose goal is to save lives. American Red
Crosss level of care and professionalism set an incredibly high bar, that when partnered with Technically
Inc., could save thousands of lives a year..
A one-time investment of $200,000 would fund the development of the QRFA project, including
the design and production costs. This would include app screen designs, discovery and wireframing, and
application administration.
Additionally, we would like to request medical guidance, advice and counseling from your
organisation free of charge, in order to ensure that our app provides safe and medically accurate
information, as well as some free marketing in order to get the app onto the phones of bystanders
everywhere.
Finally, we would like to request an ongoing $20,000 a year investment in our app in order to
fund the continual maintenance and ongoing development of the app after it has been published.
Our offices can be reached via jenniferledezma01@gmail.com or (310) 243-2025 at any hour of
the day. Meetings with Technically Inc. can be arranged at request.
Sincerely,

Jennifer Ledezma
Technically Inc. Representative
