-Introduces class to the constitution - They have social studies

-Reviews how we are now independent
from great Brittan - I loved that she made
connections to the students while

Maryland destroy tax records to gain
freedom. In virgina they destroyed
court house. The current system of govt
wasnt working and they needed a cure.

May 1787. Delicates arrive. Had to

Wanted strong central govt. They want
a whole new constitution and 13 states
have to agree and not many had
abolished slavery. 6 years under the
articles of confederation. Alexander
Hamilton strong central govt. Civil war
abolished slavery.
