As per customer requirement

The Carrier Rings are provided with the corner tapping by machining the annular slots / grooves into the carriers. The annular slots usually break through the pipe over the
entire perimeter, with no break in continuity.
For vapors and liquified gases with smaller pipe sizes, these type of arrangement is recommended in order to give satisfactory dynamic performance of the meter. The
Carrier Rings can either Male-Female type or Integral type (Monolithic) where Plate and Carrier are machined from one piece.
