Dear Hiring Manager,

My father currently works at Ford Motor Company as an Information Technology specialist. He

told me constantly about the high regard Ford Motor Company has toward developing and
maintaining business relations with other companies while, at the same time, complying with
regulatory requirements set by all levels of government. I was always interested when he talked
about ideas to make more cars that use biofuel and compressed natural gas. As a Chemical
Engineering major with extensive knowledge in chemistry and the environment, while also
having a keen interest in communicating and effectively interchanging information; I would like
to be considered for a position as a resident chemical engineer.

My knowledge of Chemistry comes mostly from my International Baccalaureate Chemistry

class. This class had a heavy focus on industrial processes and environmental protection put in
place by various governments. This allows for me to understand the hazards of dangerous gases
and the need for parts like catalytic converters. It also gives me extensive knowledge into
chemical reactions that take place and the necessary precautions needed so there are no issues.

I feel that I have an obligation to convey information that is factually correct. I am a Muslim, and
as such I am obligated religiously to convey the truth no matter the circumstance. I was known in
high school as the student who did not cheat on exams. I will always go above and beyond to
make sure that I can communicate the truth effectively.
