Class started by having one of the students greet everyone in the class.
The class reviewed the calendar. One of the students would select the answers on the smart board.
Excellent computer program to review /allow the students to select the proper items used for the day.
Grouping techniques include individual student desks with 1 to 1 working directly next to them.

The lesson started out by having the students view a video about the world series.
The class read independently while concentrating on capitalization and punctuation.
After reading each of the pages, the students wrote 1 sentence on their worksheet, using proper capitalization.

The student reviewed a slide summary of the lesson on the smart board. (modeling) It included words and board-maker symbols to indicate two
appropriate sentences.

The students were asked question about the sentences which related back to the objective.
The students were then directed to cut and paste their sentence into their notebook.

Formative assessment included circulating the class asking students leading questions to check on mastery and staying on task and completion of
worksheet.

The SLP was working 1 to 1 with one of the students.
Each student had their own resources and 1 to 1 to help them stay on task and accomplish the objective. An excellent strategy for increasing
student independence. (as opposed to group reading by the entire class. )

Excellent division of teacher directed and student centered work.

As a summary, students were asked to fill in the blanks on the smart board of an appropriate sentence.

The students understand the routine of the class and respond according to your direction.
If the student finished early they each had an individual enrichment folder of additional work. The folder consisted of Velcro items.
Students were given positive re-enforcement throughout the class.

You have used the adult resources in your class very effectively and efficiently. Each of your AAA are aware of their individual student needs
and what is required during the lesson. This is sometimes the hardest skill to address.

Sam you have established a caring and professional relationship with each of the students in your class.
