Volunteer Work
Volunteered as a Youth Counselor with Young Life Ministries at Kempsville High
School and Landstown High School, Virginia Beach, VA (2012-2014). Developed
personal and emotional skills dealing with students in and out of school.
Volunteer as a sitter for kindergarten to fifth grade levels at the Community Church
in Western Branch, Chesapeake, VA.
Missionary to El Salvador (Year 2012): Served as part of a team brought together
to build the community a new church. I also provided the Pastors with finances to
build the church.

Missionary to Philippines (Year 2013 & 2014): Served as part of team to build a
safe house for the deaf youth who were homeless; built a church for the deaf to
worship in; provided computers and hearing aids for over 300, and interpreted
every Sunday morning for church. Throughout the years I have remained in
contact with several of the youths providing support.

During summer of 2015, I served as a sign language interpreter for a deaf family
that was selected by Roc Solid Foundation, Chesapeake, VA to build a playground
for their child who was diagnosed with cancer.
