Your ULTIMATE TIME MACHINE book is a mix of some things that have panned out as
true, some that havent, and a lot of things that look promising but are still in the air.
Are you or anyone you know tracking these things? Have you any idea how many of
your predictions have so far come true, or not come true?

No one is actually tracking them that Im aware of. Ive gotten a lot of feedback in the form of emails
over the years since the book came out, however, that point out many of the things that have come
true.

Timings not exact in many cases, which is the norm. Some of the predictions that have come true are
very interesting however like the floating cities a few of which are already at sea, with larger ones
under construction.

UTM is an interesting book, in that most RV expertise is just talk, anybody can do it,
but nearly every line of that book puts your reputation and RVs, in the positive sense
on the line. Now that its been a few years of experience since, is there anything about
what you wrote in UTM that you would expand, delete, revise, etc.?

No. It seems to me that part of the natural urge many psychics have is to do just that, go back in
hindsight and invent excuses for why something didnt happen the way they projected it was going to.
One of my favorites is its an alternative universe I would have predicted had I known event (usually
specified) was going to happen.

I wont do that. The book will stand forever on its own merit and thats the reason I wrote it.

You predicted in ULTIMATE TIME MACHINE that open contact with another intelligent
species will start after 2070. What is your take on these 'aliens'? Are they one group?
Many? What is their purpose? (Guardians? Neutral Watchers? Exploiters? Or varied
and independent?) Do you have data on those aspects yet?

My guess will be that they are surprisingly like us in many aspects. In comparison they may be butt-
ugly or angelic, but in a majority of ways, they will still be very much like us.

Initially we will probably only meet a single species of alien, but eventually we will understand there
are more than we can possibly count.

As to purpose they are probably wondering the very same thing about us what would be our
purpose in wanting to know about them, I mean, would you trust humans? Hell no. All kidding aside,
I believe we are going to be very surprised to learn from where they originate.

Do you ever make a prediction, and then prior to the point where it would happen or
not, know or feel that it is NOT going to turn out the way you predicted, as if something
had shifted in the meantime? We know a viewer might just be wrong, but do you feel
there are other things going on that affect accuracy, in terms of changes in reality itself?

Of course I do I make mistakes. But, what might have shifted? Nothing shifts. Thats just an excuse
for being wrong. Never do I give that a second of thought it doesnt matter.

The only thing that is ever going to actually happen at any given point in time is exactly what is
supposed to happen, whether we agree to it or not, whether we predict it or not.

Interview #003 Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 2
Interview #003 RV Oasis Interviews Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 3

You predicted sometime in the next 20 years an area of the brain will be found that will
permit RV to be 99% accurate. Do you have any more to say on that? Are there current
exercises to develop it? Was this about making all the psi accurate from the viewer, or
making an analysis process accurate after the session?

What I actually said was that an area of the brain would be identified that specifically deals with PSI
functioning. It will enable us to understand when the information is actually being processed. Im not
sure I ever said there would be that kind of accuracy.

It looks like your predictions about war with Iraq made years before UTM even, in
public media are likely to come true, alas. Does it drive you crazy that you can provide
useful and accurate info about the future, and despite your Legion of Merit award for
psi work for tons of govt agencies, apparently still nobody listens??

On the contrary, I believe there are a lot of people listening. Whether any of them are in an
appropriate position to make a difference is of course, another thought.

There is a common belief that because the project lasted for nearly 19 years and did support so many
agencies in so many ways that this automatically means they accept Remote Viewing without
reservation. In fact, that is not true. There are still lots of reasons not to trust it, and using it if at all
should be done with great care -- and only then for very limited or specific reasons.

Its when people disregard these caveats that things go to hell in a hand basket.

Your predictions suggest the coming war will be long and difficult for the USA
economically and in many other ways. Other than trying to get finances in order, can
you make any suggestions for how Americans can best prepare for living through such a
difficult period? Have you any prediction on how long that period might be?

Do what Americans do best deal with it. The beautiful thing about Americans is our ability to adapt.
When it already appears that we are doing the best we can do, in reality we are probably just
stumbling along. If someone or something forces us to respond, and we do well, when we gear up
and put our shoulder behind something, you dont want to be standing on the other side.

The single issue that can force us to gear up is a threat to our freedom. We expect to live free, and
believe the rest of the world deserves the same opportunities we enjoy. When traveling, meeting
people, especially young people, if you stop and talk to them, you can see that same desire for freedom
burning in their eyes as well.

Its probably the single greatest threat we are to most other cultures the freedom we represent. It
directly challenges the multitude of ways by which many in the world rule or maintain control over
their own citizens. Given the way North Korea or Iraq controls its own people, the way we live doesnt
threaten them, its the freedoms our own people enjoy that threaten them. The best things we can do
are to enjoy our freedoms and continue to live them.

You seem to be making a name for yourself over in Japan, doing RV on TV. How did it
come that you'd do RV over there?

They asked, I told them what the rules were, and they complied. It was evident from the outset that
they had actually gone out and read the literature, and they had done their homework first, before
they approached me. They understood what Remote Viewing was, and the framework within which it
is most likely to operate best.

They are also a formal broadcast show and not a documentary. The way people get around paying
someone for their time and effort is they call it a documentary. In doing so, they never pay you
anything for your efforts or time its just not right in the documentary business. Of course any
commonality to a real documentary is usually left on the cutting room floor.

In the situation with the Japanese, they also have a great deal of respect for the enormous amount of
time and effort Ive put into learning to do what I do. Its demonstrated in the way they treat me while
Im with them. They have manners. Many film crews Ive worked with do not they come in with an
attitude that they are doing you a favor giving you film exposure and they have no respect at all. You
are just a commodity to them a way to make money.

Finally, the Japanese challenged me to find missing people on camera one of the most difficult
things to do using remote viewing. They were prepared to take my material and actually go out and
use it with detectives. Its the marriage of remote viewing and real police work that makes it so
effective. This is a major point about remote viewing that Ive been trying to impress on people for a
long time.

No one ever seems to get it. Well, the Japanese get it, and they know how to use it appropriately,
instead of judging it first, ridiculing it second, and then ignoring their half of the requirement.

Do the Japanese have a different perspective on what you do? What results have you
seen from those demonstrations?

Very much so. They have a high degree of respect for what I do. They understand that it doesnt work
all the time, that there are times when it does and doesnt, or that there will be varying degrees of
success. They are willing to take what they can get and use it as effectively as they can to try and come
up with new leads or information that can help them solve a problem.

As a result of their efforts coupled with the remote viewing information Ive been able to provide to
them, weve been able to find five out of six people who were missing, those that no one else could
find. You need to understand that some of these people changed their names, some of them moved to
a different island, changed jobs, remarried, etc. A few of these people were missing nearly two decades
or didnt want to be found.

We found them anyway, using blind targeting (blank sealed envelopes), from my dining room in rural
Virginia, half a world away.

While there, Ive also demonstrated outbounder type remote viewing in the studio as well. Its
turned out to be quite successful. So successful in fact, a professor from the University of Tokyo
accused me of being in collusion with the studio which of course is ridiculous.

How many individual targets have you done over the years that were on-camera,
double-blind? How many were considered a success, failure, or still-unknown?

Currently, as of October, 2002, Ive done 30 remote viewings either double-blind, or blind, real time,
or precognitive, for major networks in five countries the United States, Germany, France, Japan,
and Great Britain.

Twenty-five of these have been successful from moderately so to exquisitely so. I do not count them
as successes unless there is a very clear indication that Ive made contact with the target and what Ive
drawn clearly resembles the target in a non-arguable way.

PJ Gaenirs Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection: RV Oasis Discussion Group Interview Series
Interview #003 Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 4
Interview #003 RV Oasis Interviews Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 5

Almost without exception, the misses can be attributed to studios not doing their homework and
blowing the protocol. Whether I would have gotten them otherwise will never be known.

An example of such a miss is their asking me to describe where an outbounder is standing I draw a
very detailed bridge the outbounder is actually standing on the bridge I drew, but then we find out
the target is really a half mile down river, and the outbounder chose to stand on the bridge because it
made a better shot for the camera that kind of thing.

In fact, many of the studios make so many mistakes, that Ive taken to reprogramming my own
targeting while on camera. They ask me to describe where someone will be standing at a specific time,
but in my mind I task myself with describing what I will be seeing when they eventually show me the
real target.

As an example, on the CBS Special they asked me to describe where their outbounder and film crew
was standing (they were supposed to be delivered there by helicopter and the target was being
picked from a possible four or five sites within the city of Los Angeles).

I knew when I walked up onto the stage they already had film crews standing at the local sites, because
I immediately began getting bits and pieces of numerous different places. So, I waited until they made
the phone connection with the outbounder and asked her if she was on target. When she said yes
and I heard her voice over the loudspeaker, I got a single flash for one of the many sites Id been trying
to unscramble and went with it. It turned out to be correct.

The Producer apologized after the show he said they couldnt get everyone onto the helicopter, so
they sent film crews out ahead of the show broadcast. So, in many cases I am not only do the remote
viewing, but Im trying to out-think the studios mistakes simultaneously.

Were any of those targets things that _nobody_ had an answer to until your session?

In 28 out of 30 targets done live on camera, no one knew what the target would be until the
outbounder got there, or they actually located the missing person they were searching for.

In two of the targets Ive done for film, a producer or director may have known what the target would
be, but in both those cases they were isolated from me and those people I would be interacting on the
stage with.

In the CBS Special, since there were only four or five target locations in the target pool, the person
who put the pool together was kept out of the filming portion of the studio, and the producer was
isolated from all the participants. In fact, the only way I was allowed to communicate with anyone
while shooting the CBS Special was through a personal courier who would carry messages to and from
me to others. Also, in that case, I was kept in a sealed room and filmed with a remote camera during
the entire program to insure no one could speak with me.

Are there any public demo sessions that have failed for protocol or media reasons
instead of viewing reasons? Can you give an example if so?

(See the previous responses.) In one example I did for Channel 4 in London, they filmed me from a
distance doing a remote viewing in front of a remote camera in Virginia. I did the RV on a small island
surrounded by water, and the camera was on automatic and not manned. After I finished, I put all my
materials (even the sheets of paper I discarded or wrote nothing on), the pencil, and film cartridge
into a sealed courier pouch. I then signaled a professional courier who crossed the bridge and was
filmed putting a numbered lead seal on the pouch. All this material was then secured by the courier
company, and held until broadcasting day, which was 68 days in the future.

They flew me to London for what they call the chat show portion of the program, at which time they
would randomly select a location from a list of locations, and then we would travel to that site in order
to be there at the targeted time. We left the studio with plenty of time to get to the target, but ended up
in heavy traffic as a result of a serious auto accident on the M4 outside of London. The target time was
fast approaching and it was apparent that we wouldnt make it to the selected site.

So, the producer selected something closer to where we were. We went to the alternate site instead of
the original site selected. It turned out that I described the selected site extremely well but not the
alternate site. They figured no matter where I ended up I should be able to describe that place, so they
said it was probably a bad remote viewing. I told them they needed to watch the entire tape, which
they then did.

At the end of the original remote viewing, I stated very clearly and emphatically that with this target
there would be major problems in getting to the selected site, which I had drawn. Since my
instructions were to describe the site that would be randomly chosen from the pool that is what I did. I
did not have instructions to vary from that.

I argued that they changed the protocol mid-activity, and therefore it was a blown protocol and not a
bad remote viewing. The senior executive agreed and they trashed the entire session as a blown target
protocol. I thought it would have made great viewing in demonstrating how changing the protocol
even a little bit could be absolutely ruinous to a remote viewing effort, but I guess it would have caused
them too much embarrassment, so the whole thing was discarded (something that would not have
happened in a scientific effort.)

Finding other viewers to do legitimately double-blind, on-camera demonstrations is like

the proverbial needle in a haystack, and youre pretty much the only needle found so
far. Why do you think this is?

I think many other viewers have some degrees of success, but they may be somewhat sporadic in the
results. So, they have this terrible fear of failure and on television in front of millions of viewers
its probably a fear they cannot overcome.

I think the reason they deal with sporadic results in the first place is there is very little attention being
paid to the irrevocable rules of protocol. In their hearts they are never quite sure that the target was
totally blind, because someone in the room knew the answer.

This is especially so during training. Its that small, some frail little doubt, that resides in the back of
their minds that creates the fears. In other words, while they see that it sometimes works, they dont
know that its normal and can be expected to work regardless of conditions under which it is being
done.

Remember, its not all those people out there in the world that one has to convince the most its
yourself. If you havent convinced yourself to the point that you KNOW its real and will work when it
has to, then you will never get over the fear of failure.

I know it will work. I expect it to work. I also know that sometimes it will fail. Im willing to take the
risk that people will understand when it fails and not lose site of the majority of times that it has
worked and worked very well.

Of course the problem is also a cultural one as well. You can do three-dozen remote viewings on
camera and get them all right, and then have one failure, and the media will be all over you for it. So,
there is an understandable fear of public ridicule in there as well.

Interview #003 RV Oasis Interviews Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 7

In the world I grew up in and have lived in most of my life, I understand very clearly that talk is cheap.
You either walk the walk or you dont.

One thing that seems critically needed in the public field of RV is some "standard of
measure." Theres not a qualified RV science lab on every corner, and most the media is
untrustworthy (and not everyone can come by higher-level stuff). Talk is cheap and
plentiful but other than you, nobody is demonstrating this under an approved RV
protocol on an ongoing basis. What could such a measure be, and how could it be
created for the public and viewers that want to prove themselves, any ideas?

Sure. This is a no-brainer. Set up a large selection of random target sites and locations across the
planet. Put representative pictures of them in a computer file. Set up a web site and open it to remote
viewers to set up their own record files. Design it so they can log on and file the materials for a target
that will be selected after they hit the selection Remote Viewing completed and filed. A reference to
the target is then filed with the material (but not its identity).

Someone will then have to volunteer to judge the result. This can be accomplished by having someone
log on to the site and identifying themselves as a judge, and then requesting a session to work on. They
are then presented with a group of five photographs, one of which is the actual target, and the session
data that goes with it. They match the session results to the first best selection, then the second best,
third best, etc. Once they have done that and the results are filed, an automatic email is forwarded to
the person who did the original remote viewing, showing them the result (picture and location), along
with an update of their statistics.

I would set the system up so that in order to do a remote viewing, you would be required to do a
judging first after which you would be authorized access to the viewing portion of the system. Do a
judging, you get a to do a viewing. I would also insure that the system statistical file and results would
only be accessible to one or two people for management purposes.

Deciding who youd want to do that job would be both difficult as well as burdensome, as obviously
that would include at least the webmaster and a scientist. So, you could charge some small dues to
cover their expenses.

These are basically the conditions under which many of us were forced to learn and work.

Rumor has it you're not offering RV services to the public anymore. Why not?

Ive been doing this for 25 years now day to day, week-to-week, year in and year out with very little
time off. About 75% of what I do (all for individuals, either directly or indirectly) is done pro-bono (no
pay). The rest of the work I do is for individuals and companies. I charge very moderate fees, and in
many cases cut those for people who cant afford them.

Since Im always overwhelmed with requests, I have set up a priority system that I work by. Obviously
life and death problems come first (missing children, kidnapped victims, etc.) Secondly, I do things
that I feel will benefit the most people in either a learning or understanding viewpoint, not just for RV,
but in what I consider to be social or cultural righteousness matters. Last, I do what I need to do to
make sufficient money to allow me to do the first two. For this I am forced to rely mostly on
companies or corporations.

By the time I get to more personal projects for individuals, I have very little resources left in either
time or energy.

PJ Gaenirs Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection: RV Oasis Discussion Group Interview Series
Interview #003 Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 7
Interview #003 RV Oasis Interviews Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 8

For years Ive used what would otherwise be my time off to accomplish those tasks. This means a very
restrictive personal time. When I restrict my personal time I quickly reach burnout, or it begins to
affect my work overall. So, something has to give. Ive decided to further restrict the personal RV in
the latter category.

In light of what I do pro bono however, I wouldnt say that Im not offering RV services to the public.
Ive just restricted it to those that authorities have asked my assistance with.

Do you know of any other even moderately reputable viewer, psychic, dowser, etc. who
would be willing to take on the endless supply of lost children, lost pets, and things like
that which the public has a great deal of?

I know a few psychics and dowsers who do this kind of work, but in terms of reputability, not that
many. This should not be read as implying many out there are not reputable. It just means I dont
know that many to the extent that I could vouch for their veracity of capability.

There are organizations that can be reached that will vouch for such individuals The American
Dowsers Association as an example. Most psychics gain their reputations by what they do. If they are
successful in what they do and actually help people, their new clients come to them by word of mouth.
If theyve not demonstrated what they can do in public, or spend a great deal of time talking about
what they do and not doing it, wellthat implies a lot as well.

What are the most interesting kinds of things youve been tasked on by clients from the
public over the years?

Finding a lost wedding band someone threw out of a car window in a fit of anger. Assisting in Jury
evaluation (for both the prosecution as well as defense). Finding a short in a wiring harness on a large
boat. Finding a body inside a graveyard (headstone missing for many years, of course). Estimating the
final top bid for a piece of land being placed on auction (they bid $99 above that point and took the
auction by $12). Where did Grandpa hide his jar of silver dollars on his 1100-acre farm? Figuring out
what killed a parrot found dead in his cage.

Can you provide us a general' description of the kinds of paid psi work you currently
do? (We know names are out, but we're curious as to what things are often requested.)

Search for and identify specific minerals (oil, gas, stone, gold, silver, nickel, jade, diamonds, silica,
gravel, water, granite, crystal, emeralds, sapphires) where they are closest to the surface, the shape of
the deposit, size of deposit, purity of deposit, fault lines, difficulties that might be encountered when
mining (engineering, social, or political).

Sunken vessels (old and new with same problems and issues as above).

Locations for a new home or business, building orientation, security, protection, future encroachment,
or projected increase or decrease in value, in what amount of time.

Route planning for executives traveling overseas, type of vehicle, travel times, types of hotels to use for
both security reasons as well as influencing businesses, the evaluation of displays and personnel being
used at conventions, layout of booths, arrangement of products, color, etc. The list goes on and on.

Do you do any other things for income that are not RV? If so, what kind of things? And
do you use psi in any way toward your skill or accomplishments in those areas?

I use PSI in everything I do. Its part of the creative process.

Ive also designed, drawn, and built houses, pools and sprinkler systems. Ive written books (obviously
nonfiction, but also fictional novels), screenplays, teleplays, and formal reports or proposals for
others. Been involved in scientific research, not only for the paranormal, but also in the fields of
psychology, geology, and security.

Im also an Information Technology Consultant, and information management specialist. I give talks
and presentations. Im involved in charities for both humans as well as animals.

Im a trained computer analyst, security analyst (specifically physical and electronic), and general
problem solver. I do a lot of things and am not uncomfortable with doing things Ive not yet done.

Outside of your science and intelligence RV experiences, how long have you been doing
active RV/dowsing for hire? Is there enough market to make you a living? What factors
affect such a niche market, in terms of available work, willingness of corporations and
investigators to use a viewer, etc.?

Formally, since September 1984. There has never been enough of a market to make a living. I suppose
if I charged everyone for everything I did, there would be, but I cant bring myself to charge people
who are in pain or suffering a grievous loss.

I do everything by word of mouth, and guarantee total anonymity, which sometimes has a tendency to
restrict the numbers of companies who come to know me. This is a rule I consider unbreakable.

As a result, when other companies come to me and ask me to provide them with a list of companies
Ive worked for, I do not. This has cost me jobs Im sure but its more their loss not mine.
Confidentiality is sacrosanct in this business, no matter whom you are working for.

When someone publicly states they are working for a specific government agency or mega-
corporation, it automatically makes me question the statement. I dont believe it. They may have sent
them something in a one-way communication, heres some RV you should be interested in. But,
thats hardly working for them. The people Ive worked for would cut that person loose faster than you
can read the period at the end of this sentence. The work in general is sporadic feast or famine.

I wouldnt advise anyone to try and make a living at it, or at writing, for that matter. The only reason
to do either is because you like doing it or have fun doing it, or maybe there is a greater reason for
doing it. Im probably suffering from all three reasons.

What are your personal interests besides psi?

Being alone on a back road on my Kawasaki. Sport fishing (I catch them and release them.) Fishing for
food I keep and then eat. Hiking and climbing in the mountains (desert, northeastern, European,
doesnt matter which), although Ive been relegated to less strenuous climbs as a result of my heart
problems. Writing for me.

And my long desired (but as yet unfulfilled) wish to actually find a 1956 Chevy, two-door, in a fair
enough condition, to rebuild to my own demanding specifications.

You spent a lot of time in hard combat. We wonder how being psychic might make you
sensitive to aspects of combat and some after-effects that others might not be. Have
you ever encountered, psychically, the visage, or thought-form or psi projection of
someone you killed in combat? Or anything offbeat like that? If so, can you tell us
something about it?

PJ Gaenirs Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection: RV Oasis Discussion Group Interview Series
Interview #003 Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 9
Interview #003 RV Oasis Interviews Joseph W. McMoneagle Page 10

These experiences are private. Sorry.

Does your psi make you any more sensitive to, or insightful about, things you most
regret about your past?

Not really. Theres a lot of things I regret having done a specific way, or for a specific reason. Everyone
has those issues, and you dont have to be psychic to know what they are or deal with them. But, being
human, I also reserve the right to make mistakes and then acknowledge them, correct for them,
change. Im willing to forgive others for their mistakes or problems if they are willing to change as
well. Hindsight is a wonderful thing in humans, it allows us to review those less than appealing things
we know about ourselves and then it allows us to make appropriate changes to correct perceived
deficiencies as we grow and change. That is, as long as we dont then judge others by the rules we set
for ourselves.

If you could have dinner/ conversation with several people from any point in time, who
would they be and why?

Interesting question. I would enjoy a dinner and private conversation with President Nixon, Ho Chi
Men, and Genghis Khan because I think theyve all gotten a bad rap historically and I want to know
more about their inner thinking. I want to have dinner with Sophia Loren, just because I think she is
one of the most sensual women who ever walked the planet and Id like to know why. And, Id love
just five minutes alone with a couple people for obvious reasons weapons of their choice.

Do you ever get psi data spontaneously about things you werent even interested in?
Have you any idea why this sort of info bleeds through to some people? Can that be
controlled or prevented without blocking out psi ability across the board? If you do get
such data, is this ever upsetting in any way?

I always get psi data spontaneously about a lot of things. I never talk about it and Im not sure its
preventable. I mean, how can someone be psychic only when they want to be?

Im generally not immediately upset about anything. After I think about it for a while - I might be.
However, I am often dismayed or saddened by things I get spontaneously, especially when it involves
someone close or input thats got negative or destructive content.

Under no conditions do I ever share the fact that Ive gotten something. That would be a major
violation of someones privacy even if I knew it could help in some way. I have to be asked first. That
doesnt mean I get something and then tell them they have to ask me before I can give it to them
that, too is an invasion of personal privacy by inference.

Is ego an issue for you? Do you have to make any kind of real effort to remain humble,
when you feel like youre tuned into the universe and more aware than most people
you likely meet on a daily basis?

All the time. Keeping your ego under control doesnt just apply to being aware or tuned, however. It
applies to all conditions regardless of meaning.

No one human being is better than another for any reason especially for reasons of money,
intelligence, race, religion, or any other aspect of difference one might explore. Every human has their
value, their strengths and failures.

We are conditioned by our culture, experience, social background, education, and society at large to
judge others as either not measuring up, or as some kind of an icon that needs to be copied. None of
that is correct. A handicapped child is not a corrupted flower in the garden of life - they are just a
different kind of flower. All flowers should be respected. An old woman pushing all her belongings
down the street is still someones relative. The Chicano with the tattoos and less than inviting stare
wants no more or no less than I do respect as a human being, the right to provide for his loved ones,
to pursue what he enjoys about life, in security and safety.

Unfortunately, life isnt geared to support this equality. I think thats because the things we base our
value on are wrong from the get go. Its not about money or intelligence. Its about understanding and
caring. We need to find a different kind of motivation for what we do in our lives. Standing up to what
culture and society dictates, however, is a tough road for anyone to follow.

Are paranoia or hyper vigilance ever an issue for you? The most astounding psychics
historically have had a little of this, and I wonder if your combat history would add to
that kind of thing.

Im usually not paranoid. I believe that paranoia is controllable through the modification of how we
view ourselves and fix our appropriate place in reality. When someone is paranoid it is usually born
out of self-delusion, thats belief that something is true when it isnt.

Hyper vigilance, on the other hand, is usually based on a chemical reaction that comes from some
experience causing the hardwiring inside the brain to change. This is sometimes born out of being
terrorized. I was terrorized a long time before the Army ever got to me.

Do you have to make any kind of real effort to ground in your own identity? Does the
experience of intense rapport require substantive changes in your perception of who
you are?

No. I had some difficulty when I first retired from the Army in determining who I actually was. I
carried so many personas as a result of the twenty-years I moved around and did so many things, that
I honestly didnt really know or understand what constituted the real me. But that was before my stint
with remote viewing.

In terms of that being a problem from remote viewing thats never been a problem. Anyone who has
that problem while attempting to remote view probably shouldnt be doing remote viewing, as they
must then lack some degree of stability thats necessary for it.

Remote Viewing can be enervating from an energy consumption standpoint, but it should never be
mind altering for anyone doing it, at least in terms of stability, or being able to take it.

Do you have a hero(s)? Who, and why?

In remote viewing it would be Rene Warcollier, who was doing the work for 30+ years in a culture
that didnt support it. My close friend, Edwin C. May, who has spent almost as much of his own
personal money and energy in researching remote viewing, as he has ever made or experienced from
it. The Honorable Senator Claiborne Pell, who was a standup guy and had the courage to state his
beliefs about remote viewing when the project was exposed on National Television.

And I really wish I had access to some of the people who went back up the staircases in the WTC on
9/11 just so I could thank them personally for showing us what real human beings are like. Aside
from remote viewing of course I have others I respect and admire as a hero Thomas Jefferson, Abe
Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Gene Cernan, George Patton, and of course my Father.

What psi-related individual from the past (from ancient history to present) do you find
most fascinating?

J.B. Rhine. He risked everything he ever worked for, to study something that wasnt at all popular at
the time. Took all the shots thrown at him and still retained his honor and integrity.

Its said, birds of a feather is your wife psychic? If so, how does that manifest in
her life? And how do you think the psi factor affects your mutual relationship, if at all?

Yes. The rest of this answer is personal.

You mentioned in a previous interview that your wife Nancy was Director of The
Monroe Institute for 7+ years, as well as being directly involved with helping build it
into a viable organization from its initial beginning. Is she also a remote viewer? If so,
does she help you with your work?

Yes. She is an even better Astrologer, however, and helps me a great deal with search problems when
they are giving me a lot of difficulty. Mostly, she is totally supportive to what I do and has taken the
time to learn how to properly set up targeting materials and integrate the questions that people want
answered into manageable targeting methodologies.

Do you think psi talent might be genetically passed, as well as developed based on
formative life experiences?

Yes. All human beings are psychic, so that would be a natural conclusion.

If all the things you have learned in your life could be put into a few simple Maxims to
pass down to your son and anyone else you cared deeply for, what might those be?

There is nothing life can throw at you that cant be dealt with in a positive and constructive way.

Never lose sight of where you came from, or those you left behind.

Regardless of cost, do the righteous thing and never sell out your integrity moral high ground is
the only guarantee to victory.

Learn when to keep your mouth shut sometimes being perceived as stupid is preferable to being
right.

In life, take only what you can use or eat, share the rest.
