The USB CONNECTOR is a HOMELINE accessory


making it possible to connect a variety of
standard articles equipped with a USB plug
to your TWINDRIVE TD3 system or your CBH
Advanced system. Based on plug and play
principles, just connect the USB CONNECTOR
to one of the channels of the TD3/CBH
Advanced and you have extended combination
possibilities of adding a USB based unit.
All operated by the handset.

The USB CONNECTOR is a compact unit only


taking up limited space. Furthermore, the unit
is very easy to mount either by using screws
and mount on the bed frame or simply by using
the groove on the TD3 and slide it on. A further
feature of the unit is that if you need more
than the 2 USB ports on each box, several boxes
can be connected to the system and stacked on
each other only taking up a minimum of space.

The USB CONNECTOR could for example be combined with:

An energy saving busbar and via this busbar a standard 230 V lamp can be connected. The lamp can then be turned on
and off via the standard HB20 handset

Charge your mobile telephone. Connect your telephone via the telephone USB cable to the USB CONNECTOR and it will
start charging according to the standard for USB chargers
A PC accessory with a USB plug like light, a small fan etc. The only demand is that the accessory is in accordance with
existing specifications (5 V output, max draw 0.5 A etc.) and that it does not require communication.

System operation:
As standard the TD3/CBH Advanced is set up to work with the LED LIGHTBOX001, meaning that when you connect the USB
CONNECTOR001 and the chosen USB unit, the system must be configured.

Mounting instructions:
Either slide the USBCONNECTOR001 on the groove on the TD3 or mount the unit on the bed frame using 3 wood screws
with a maximum head diameter of 8 mm. Max. Torque 1 Nm.

All cables must be fixed to the bed to avoid disconnection when cleaning under the bed.

To operate the USBCONNECTOR with a standard handset the TD3 needs to be configured.
