Spring Craft Show Scheduled May 6
At WM Senior Center & Community Club
The West Milton Senior Center & Community Club will host a
Spring Craft Show on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. til 3 p.m. There
will also be a lunch stand and bake sale. Proceeds will go towards the
centers Roof Repair Fund.
There will be a door prize given away each hour. Great vendors
will be on hand, and everyone on your list can be taken care of, in-
cluding yourself! Youll find great gifts for Mothers Day, Fathers
Day, birthdays, and just because gifts. Youll find throw rugs, pil-
lows, quilts, doll clothes, baby items, jewelry, and leather crafts. There

Mothers Day Chicken BBQ Dinners

The Fort Rowdy Gathering will have their annual Mothers Day
Chicken BBQ on Sunday, May 14, in the Covington Park, from 11

On Saturday, May 13, Christs Center for Hope will host Cookies and Canvas at the West
Milton Senior Citizens and Community Center. The event theme is Forget Her Not.
The registration fee of $50 will include creating your own painting of the Forget Her Not on
canvas, orignally designed by local artist, Jacqui Noll; cookies, iced tea, lemonade, or water, Silent
Auction bidding, 50/50 raffle, and a quilt raffle.
Christs Center for Hope is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization for formerly incarcer-
ated women. Their mission is to provide a place for broken and hurting women to come to the foot
of the Cross for healing and restoration of life as it was meant to be. The Center will be a safe, tran-
sitional housing center, offering holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit, through Christian-
based programming and the affirmation of Christs forgiving love.
The goal of the event is to gain monthly donors to support the Center as well as earn funds to
purchase a location for the Center.

Fields of Grace Worship Center would like to thank everyone who attended the 7th annual
Community Easter Egg Hunt held April 8 at the Covington Park. There were 1,300-plus in atten-
dance at this years event.
Thank you to the Village of Covington for the use of the Community Park, Roger Finfrock for
allowing us to park vehicles on Finfrock Construction grounds (we were able to park 100-plus cars

Bradford Public Library is pleased to announce that Stacie Layman has been hired as the new Library
Manager. Stacie will be responsible for day to day operations, including circulation, patron relations, and
technology. She has been assigned to the librarys web page. She has also been in charge of the librarys
Facebook page for the past two years and is responsible for updating the digital sign. She enjoys making
certain that the public is well informed about upcoming events and programs and hopes that you enjoy
seeing the photos and articles she puts on our various types of media.

out the year. She has a strong desire to see our library full of young people and hopes that they will devel-
op a life-long love of reading.
