Willie Colon, Dedicated Champion for the Lupus Cause

The Golf Outing is just one way Mr. Colon supports the lupus community and the Lupus Research
Alliance. "Like so many people with lupus, my mom constantly struggles with the symptoms of this
disease, never knowing when a flare up will hit, and often landing in the hospital with serious
complications. The Lupus Research Alliance is the world's leader in lupus research, and that's where the
greatest hope lies for people like my mom who desperately need better treatments and a cure. I'm 100%
on this team, and it's a sure winner!" says Mr. Colon.

Co-host of ESPN Radio New York's The Anita Marks & Willie Colon Show, Mr. Colon is also a frequent
guest on the network's Hahn, Humpty and Canty Show.

About Lupus
Lupus is a chronic, complex autoimmune disease that affects millions of people worldwide. More than
90% of lupus sufferers are women, mostly young women between the ages of 15 to 44. Women of color
are especially at risk. In lupus, the immune system, which is designed to protect against infection, creates
antibodies that attack the body's own tissues and organs -- the kidneys, brain, heart, lungs, blood, skin,
and joints.
