ASSIGNMENTS & QUIZZES
QUIZZES (10%): CLO 1 , 2
Conducting quizzes is important to assess students understanding on the concepts that they have
learned in class.
There will be TWO (2) quizzes throughout the semester.
80% of the questions should assess students understandings on basic knowledge of HRM
concepts. Another 20% can be used to develop application type of questions. Questions can be
developed in various styles such as multiple choices and T/F or short essay with standard answer
scheme, etc.

ASSIGNMENTS (40%)
Students are to produce written reports on the topic assigned. The reports should be written using the
following format:
1. Cover Page: Assignments title, name of the group members.
2. References : APA system.
3. Technical writing format: Times New Roman/Arial, Font size 12, 1 spacing.

Assignment ONE (15%)
Problem solving Problem
This assignment is to be done in a group of 4-5 people. solving
10% report requires about 1000 words in length. report (10%)

- Problem solving - presentation
Instruction:
Oral presentation (5%)
i) Each group will be assigned an article to work on.
ii) Identify and explain an important issue highlighted in the
article.
iii) Discuss how the issue affects organization (people
management).
iv) Provide suggestions (based on HRM perspective) on how
to deal with the issue OR comments on how the issue is
solved.

Any type of assignment to be done in group or individual. report
Rubric to use: (15%)
15% report requires about 1500 words in length.
