Uses Chemrite R4QVA is used as a superplasticizer in
the production of free flowing concrete such as
- Slabs and foundations
- Walls, columns and piers
- Slender components with densely packed
reinforcement.
- Piles
- Pre-cast concrete elements
- Pre-stressed concrete
- Bridges and cantilever structures

Advantages Chemrite R4QVA provides the following
properties:
- Workability is greatly improved for easy placement of
concrete.
- Especially suitable for slender components with
densely packed reinforcement.
- Concrete requires less compactive effort.
- Improved cohesion of the concrete mix.
- Significantly reduces the risk of segregation and
allows greater time for placement.

Application Details
__________________________________________________________________
Dosage Recommended dosage: 0.6-2.0 % by weight of
cement. It is advisable to carry out trial mixes to
establish the correct dosage.
__________________________________________________________________
Dispensing Chemrite R4QVA can be added to the mixing
water prior to its addition to the aggregates or
directly to the freshly mixed concrete.
__________________________________________________________________
Curing Fresh concrete must be cured properly, especially at
high temperatures in order to prevent plastic and
drying shrinkage.
__________________________________________________________________
Compatibility Besides the O.P.C., Chemrite R4QVA is also
compatible with sulfate resistant cement and silica fume.
__________________________________________________________________
Cleaning Clean all equipment and tools with water
immediately after use.
__________________________________________________________________
Remarks When accidental overdosing occurs, the set
retarding effect increases. During this period the
concrete must be kept moist in order to prevent
premature drying out.
