Chemrite P.P. Fibre

Fibre for Cementitious Mortars and Concrete
________________________________________________________
Product Chemrite P.P. Fibre is a high quality 100%
Description polypropylene fibre that reduces the occurrence of
plastic and drying cracking whilst enhancing the
surface properties and durability of mortars &
concrete.
__________________________________________________________________
Uses To act as secondary reinforcement in order to prevent
micro-cracking due to plastic and drying shrinkage in
cementitious systems like
- Mortars for rendering
- Cementitious overlays
- Patch repairs on pre-cast slabs
- Industrial floor slabs
- Water retaining structures
- Large exposed surfaces like pavements, runways &
taxiways, canal linings, retaining walls, bridge
decks, concrete dams etc.

Application Details
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Dosage Chemrite P.P. Fibre is ready to use. Dosage is 0.6 to
0.9 Kg/m3 (average 100 gm per 50 Kg cement) of the
mortar or concrete depending on the mix ratio.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Dispensing Chemrite P.P. Fibre should be ideally added at the
batching plant; although in some cases this may not be
possible, then site addition can be done. If mixing is at
the batching plant, the fibre should be added first along
with some mixing water (30%). After all the other
ingredients have been added, including the remaining
mixing water, the concrete or mortar should be mixed
for a further few minutes at full speed to ensure
uniform fibre dispersion.
