Student Functionality: Low Student from chair will throw their bean bags to hit
poly spot targets around their chair. A point system will be in place and each round will consist of
5 throws. Points are calculated and the student tries to beat the previous best score.
Points are awarded as follows: 3 points for hitting the middle of the poly spot, 2 points for the
full bean bag landing on the poly spot, 1point for the bean bag touching and 0 for the bag landing
only on the floor.
Set up: Equipment: 5 poly spots, 5 bean bags

2. Hula Hoop Targets

Student Functionality: Moderate


Student who may ambulate by himself or with some assistance is placed in a chair 5 feet from a
wall. The student will underhand throw beanbags into the targets. A point system will be in place
and each round will consist of 6 throws. Points are calculated and the student tries to beat the
previous best score.
Points will be awarded as follows: 2 points for throwing the coordinating beanbag into the
correct hoop, 1 point for throwing the bean bag into a non-coordinating hoop, 0 points for
missing the targets.
Set up: Equipment: 3 Hula Hoops, 6 bean bags
(2 bean bags of each hoop color)

Student is able to ambulate independently. Student will overhand throw a bean bag to feed the
different animal targets at the zoo. A point system will be in place and each round will consist of
6 throws. Points are calculated and the student tries to beat the previous best score.
Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for feeding the bird, 2 points for feeding the lion, 1
point for feeding the elephant, and 0 points for missing.
Set up: Equipment: 3 different size animals, 6 bean bags
