Staging
Select Womens Ensemble will be on the risers directly on stage. They will walk on stage during the
welcome with the stage curtains closed. After their last song is performed they will exit (row by row)
once the curtains close.
The Chamber Choir will be quietly lined up in the hallway at the start of the concert. After the Select
Womens Ensemble has finished their fourth piece, the Chamber Choir will quietly set themselves up in
performance position at the steps by the stage. Once the curtains close on the Select Womens Ensemble,
the spotlight will move to the Chamber Choir. Once they finish their last piece, they will quietly walk
back to the hallway.
During intermission, the student members of the choirs that have not performed yet will get water and
patiently wait in the choir room. The students who have already performed will walk quietly into the
auditorium and sit in a previously designated area. When there are two minutes left of the five minute
intermission, the choir director will notify students.
After three minutes, the Mens Choir will quietly line up, walk down the hallway, and go to the
auditorium to stand in performance position on the steps where the Chamber choir was located. After they
finish, the choir will quietly exit the auditorium.
During the Mens Choirs third song, the Concert Choir will be walking on the stage behind the curtains.
When the Mens Choir finishes, the curtains will open and the Concert Choir will perform. After their last
song the curtains will close as the choir director gives her closing remarks and thanks the audience for
supporting.
Closing
The choir director will conclude the program with announcements and thank yous to the
audience.
