What were the benefits of your service-learning

experience?

Service experience helped me in many aspects. I leant about film

industry especially. Especially came to know about
cinematography, film editing and film dubbing. Client dealing and
client interaction was among the major learnings. Met with
different people and came to know about the traditions as well as
cultural diversity up to some extent.

What did you learn overall? About yourself? About your

program? About the community? About partnerships?

During this program I came to know about the business overall.

How business make profit, how it can attract the different clients.
How clients are being dealt. Due to this program I came to know
about my strengths and weakness; where Im good and where
there needs some improvements. About the program I realized
actually its very interesting as gives you opportunity to meet with
the people belong to different age groups. The main advantage of
this program was it gave a wider view of the Arab community;
their tradition, their life style and so on.

How would you change to improve the service-learning

experience?
Students at service learning experience must be asked to put up an
assignment at the day end as it would help them to conclude what they
learnt on that specific day.

How did your experience reflect the class work and class
discussions?

Class discussions and class work is limited to one topic. But as

compared to practical learning experience u get groomed by
different ways.

Would you recommend this service-learning experience to

other students? Why or why not?

Yes I would recommend this service learning experience to other

students as it benefits us from practical point of view and we
come to know about many new horizons. We learn to relate our
studies with practical experience.

How have your perceptions changed from your first

impressions of service-learning experience?

Before practically experiencing it I was used to think it as quite

much easier but after practically experiencing came to know that
practically handling the issues is not that much easy and requires
a lot of courage and tactics.

What stands out about your experience, either good or

bad? What did you learn from that particular experience?

My experience was good and I learnt particularly about film

industry.

Service learning experience makes the students eligible to

practically evaluate the things being studied at class rooms.
