Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):


Students will be able to identify new words (tummy, throat, thumb, plaster and ice pack).
Students will be able to find solution for not feeling well problems.
Students will be able to express how they feel today.

Materials:

teacher books -

student book(s) Learners book page 134 + activity book page 93.

worksheets/ papers Cards for the new words + pictures for the new words + a work sheet that students
draw and write one sentence about how they feel today.

teacher materials Laptop to display the book and the video+ colors + faces to explain the last
objective.

student materials/ Pencil+ colors + their two books.

Tummy Stomach

Throat The front part of your neck.

Thumb The short thick finger at the side of each hand.

Plaster A small piece of sticky material that is used to cover a


cut on the body.

ice pack Another name for the ice bag.


Students Prior Knowledge:
Some student will know the body parts but they dont know the exact name of it.
Some students will know problems that cause not feeling well but they dont know the
solution of it.

Possible Problems and Misconceptions:


The teacher doesnt have ability to manage the class.
The teacher doesnt explain the words in a good way.
The teacher has technology issue.

Solutions:
I will use a special method to manage the class by using points.
I will provide more pictures and real materials that will help them understand the words.
I will draw for students and I will use their own book to explain.

Lesson Schedule
Targeted teacher language:
Greeting (Good afternoon, How are you students). Firstly, we will see a video about a thing them you will know what
we will learn today. Move to your learners book and this side will be A and that side will be B. You can use your activity
book to solve the problems.
Student language:
Greeting (good afternoon teacher, Fine thank you). Yes miss you will teach us. No more listing and lets
speak today. Miss I want be on that section. We are b.

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:


I will show students a video about not feeling well and students from that will know what we are 3min

Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures): 37min


I will describe the new words and I will provide pictures and real materials so students will
identify them. Also, when I will say the new words students will repeat the words after me.

Then, I will give each group one word and they should think about sentence using this word.

After that, we will move to learner book page 134 to do the activity using new words in
sentences and say the problems about not feeling well by dividing the class into 2 sections
and B. Who joins A group they will say the problem and who joins group B they find the
solution using new words.

Then, we will move to the activity book page 93 to find solution for not feeling well problems.
Students can use their learners book to find the solution.

Close (wrap up, discussion, brief review activity or assessment): 5min
