High School Mathematics Tutor
Worked effectively with students of various ages at different learning levels in the subjects of Integrated Math I, II,
and III , Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus. Ability to communicate concepts with
students to increase comprehension and improve confidence. Created a challenging and welcoming environment in
which students could obtain high school credit for AP Calculus.
Developed and taught in depth lessons in a PLC environment to increase student interaction and critical thinking.
Independently taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus at Forest Charter as well as a remedial
Algebra I at Incline High School under lead teacher supervision. Ensured that lesson plans engaged students and met
district curriculum guidelines. Prepared performance assessments that held students accountable for their learning
and accurately determined student understanding of material.
Taught 9th through 12th grade in the subjects of Geometry, Algebra II, and Biology. Skilled in recognizing different
learning styles and needs to maximize a students full potential. Creating connections with students to establish trust
and engage them in lessons to develop their problem solving skills.
