Statement of interest
Music is the one of my interesting and I love to listen to it. In addition, I usually listen
pop and classical music in youtube. I saw many people covered famous artist songs and some
of them also created their own songs. I think it is very wonderful if I have some opportunity
to use this time to make my own music. Moreover, I am very good at playing piano and alto
xylophone. I also want to play other music instruments as well. In my final project, I choose
to do some audio production by using different music instrument in Garageband. My goal is
to create my own melody related to my personality and the most melodious.

Plan of action
 During this project, I will spend about one class to listen to famous melody in order to
understand those composition. Then, I will create my own chord in different music
instruments in the knowledge of chord progression from GarageBand for about two or three
day. Moreover, I will create sound from piano, bass, guitar, drums and ensemble. After that I
will combined those sounds together. I will use this opportunity to learn about this program
and develop my work/time effectively. Creating the melody is very for me because I am quite
familiar with this program but I will ask some of my friends who are the experts for this
program. Finally, I will try my best to make my own melody successfully.

Reflection
Throughout this music course I learn lots of new experience and did some interesting
projects. At first I got very hard time in thinking about my final project because I wanted this
project to express my personality and to have high quality. Then, I decided to use different
music instruments in GarageBand to create my valuable final work. I spent lots of time
during this project and practice very hard to understand the program and melody. However, I
will discuss about my project and my future plan in music.
 Firstly, my inspiration of this project is from Youtube where I could see lots of work
that they created melody by themselves and I am also good at playing piano. I think it is very
magnificent to make our songs with beautiful melody. After that I decided to make a song
that represent my personality in term of kindness. In addition, before I created this project, I
spent lots of time learn how to use and ask the experts. At first, I think that it will come out
with different sounds in different directions but after I finished the project it came out with
satisfy results. The sound is more smooth, clear and soft than my previous project in mixing
natural sounds. Moreover, I think that this project is very successful for me because I learn
more about chord progression and I can distribute throughout the song with smooth and
beautiful songs. Nonetheless, there is also some frustration in this project because at first I
could not hit them in the rhythms, so I need to practice so hard in order to make the sounds
flow smoothly.
Secondly, after I did this project and it is quite good for me, so I think it is very
interesting if I continue to develop my new knowledge and skills in the future. To clarify, I
will try to make some lyrics into my song in order to make it more complete. If I have a
chance, I will try to sing a song by myself and upload in Youtube and I am also looking
forward to good comments. I think those ideas can help to develop my new skills and it is
probably for me to do.
In conclusion, my final project is to express my personality in kindness and I will
develop my skills by making lyrics into the song. I also love this project so much and I want
to say thank you to Mr.Callahan and my friend who give some advices to me and make my
final project successfully.
