The City of Stoughton Tree Commission is seeking two individuals who are interested in
helping manage and maintain the livelihood of the Citys Urban Forestry. Commissioners
will regulate and control the planting, removal, maintenance, and protection of trees,
shrubs and other plants on public streets, parkways, and other
municipally owned property within the City. The Commission-
ers also study any problems and explore the needs of the City
as they relate to tree planting, protection, and maintenance.
The Commission meets the second Wednesday of every month
at 4:30 p.m. in the Ed Overland Room of City Hall. The
Commission is overseen by the City of Stoughton Public Works
Committee and the Common Council. Please contact City
