positions the webinar as valuable.

I have a quiz on the Thank You Page that leads to a warm-up

3 series of videos that build respect and rapport before people


even get to my webinar.

There are three Ts to a webinar: before, during, and after.

The content of your webinar should create desire in your

3 audience. Dont over teach everything. Focus on creating


desire for your outcome or you have failed on that webinar.

2 has to be chemistry. You also want to see a track record with stats
of success. Have they run the webinar successfully before?

One of the biggest missing pieces in your webinar follow-up is the

1 hand-off. The hand-off is an indoctrination sequence that


continues the conversation after the webinar follow-up has finished.

Start without post-webinar segmentation (did they attend/did they

2 miss/did they see the offer). Focus on your webinar, a single email
stream to follow up, and a deadline for your offer. Start simple.

Email or get on the phone with people who didnt buy and find
3 out why.

The two questions to ask before creating your online course are
Who is my avatar and how will your customers life be different

Always validate your course idea. Talk with 10 people and offer

the right track.

Have three pricing tiers: low, middle, and high. Stack most of the

3 value in the middle tier and use the higher tier as a price anchor to
make the middle tier look more attractive.

Start your funnel with a guide or quiz followed by a video

2 series, then get them on the webinar after they have been
indoctrinated.

Make sure to collect their mobile phone number. We see a 2-3x show
up rate when we send a text message the morning of and 30
3 minutes before the webinar with less than a 5% decrease in the sign
up rates.

2 overwhelm your audience and cause them not to buy.

I usually have a three day follow up after the webinar. If the

3 webinar was on a Thursday, the replay goes out Friday and


then the deadline for the offer is Saturday night.

Evergreen Webinars
Matt Wolfe:

I pick products that we use in our own business. Minimum $100 price

1 point with 40%+ affiliate commission. $500 products have been the
sweet spot when running paid traffic to an evergreen webinar.

I always add three of our own bonuses to the affiliate offer. The
personal touch bonus (an interview with the owner), the suring up
2 bonus (which adds on to a weak point in the product), and our own
personal case study from using the product.

I use two types of webinars to sell the product. One is an interview

3 style webinar with the owner and a soft pitch at the end. The other
is a screenshare tutorial style webinar with a pitch at the end.

Make sure you use the right keywords in your profile so people

When using LinkedIn Ads, get as hypertargeted as you can.

Search Amazon for books on the topic you want to create a

1 course around. Look at the table of contents and reviews for


module ideas.

Dont price your course on length. Dont focus on the features.

2 Focus on the cost to your customer if they dont solve their


problem.

When selling your course on your webinar, keep your personal


introduction short. Tell people youre going to offer something at
3 the end of the training. Teach content that positions your course as
the next step. For example, teaching them how to build a course but
sell them how to market it.

5 Steps to an Authority Building Online Summit

It all starts with your foundation which includes defining your

1 summit theme and niche. Narrow is often better. Your summit


positioning can make or break you. Most people go too broad.

Dont just go after the big names for your summit. Look for B-

2 Listers who have an audience but arent a top name. They will be
more likely to help you promote.

Look to have a backend offer after your summit is over. It could be a


course or membership program. If you dont have your own product,
3 you can offer an affiliate product that would be a good fit for your
summit audience.
