- Students will be able to build and develop their vocabulary (cold, hot, sweet, salty, juicy, sour
- Students will be able to create their favorite food by using clay and then discuss about it.
- Student will be able to explain each taste (cold, hot, sweet, salty, juicy, sour).
- Student will be able to match each taste to the correct place (cold, hot, sweet, salty, juicy, sou

Lesson Schedule

Engage (warm up, review prior knowledge): time:
1. Teacher will make a review about five senses by using PowerPoint. 10
2. Teacher will teach students new words (cold, hot, sweet, salty, juicy, sour), minut
By using flashcards.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures): 25 mi
1. Teacher will give each student a clay, crayons and white paper to create and draw
their own favorite food (individually) and after that they will discuss what they create
with the teacher
For example:
- Ali create an ice-cream
- Teacher will show students what ail created.
- Teacher will say: were we should put the ice cream, students will say:
refrigerator.
- Teacher will say; so ice cream is cold and when we eat it we feel something cold
in our mouth.2

2. Teacher will bring a real food and she will distribute (lemons, ice, tea, mango, sugar
and salt), for each 5 Groups and they will start taste and explain the taste of each
thing.
(Teacher should make sure that students didnt touch the tea in their hands and move
around the class) SAFE.

1 . Teacher will re use the flash cards and ask them by showing them the word and minut
they say and example for it.
Example
- (Salty = salt)
- (Sweet = sugar)

2 . Teacher will give each student a work sheet to assist them and see if they
understand the lesson or not.
