Procedures

Pre writing 1. Teacher calls students at random and asks


them to talk about the pictures in the flash
cards.
2. Teacher asks the students to guess the topic
for the day.
3. Teacher introduces the topic- Environment - Air
Pollution.

While Writing
1. Teacher divides the students into groups of four
and teacher gives the students reading text
entitled Air Pollution.
2. Students read the text in groups and identify
the problems and solutions regarding Air
Pollution.
3. Students underline the main point found in text.
4. Teacher gives the worksheet template- pattern
of organization.
5. Students organize the main points accordingly.
6. Students paste their worksheet answers on the
wall.
7. Teacher discusses the answers with the
Post Writing
students.

1. Students in the same groups will brainstorm


creatively on slogans related to caring for the
environment.
2. The most creative slogan will be awarded a
prize.
Consolidation

1. As closure, teacher relates the role each


student can play in conserving the
environment.
