Pride Sample

Im proud of the accomplishments that Ive made over the years. As a freshman I

came in so immature not knowing limits and boundaries disrespecting almost everyone in my

life. I was a young teen who thought I was above everyone and I was in a way untouchable. It

took me trials and difficulties in my high school career to understand I wasnt the person I

was trying to convince over people to be. Many circumstances in my life tested me heavily in

this area and served as a precedent for me not to ever return to the mentality and over attitude

I carried out my freshman year.

I have set out to become wiser and more intellectual to become a person who listens

more than speaks. I have learned to bring down my pride and in turn rely on my motivation of

success and knowledge. I have learned and taught myself a vast amount of knowledge

ranging from science, mechanics, matter, space, time, law, politics, finance, mathematics,

biology, poetry, analytics etc. They say Iron sharpens Iron and with my challenges in life it

has helped sharpen me to become the person I am recognised to be. I take pride of the

wisdom I carry that has helped me take intellectual decisions in my life. Ranging from either

committing mistakes or help to build my future for not only myself but for my kids later on.

A positive is always the sum of a negative. I have learned from my negative and have
received a huge sum of positive. There is no room for failure in my life and success is my

only goal, and with that I take tremendous pride. I am ahead of the game, lightyears from my

peers. Only God knows where my talent will take me.
