The teacher will choose one boy and one girl, she will ask the students to tell her what the similarity and
difference between them.

The teacher will tell and show them meaning of compare, contrast and Venn diagram. And then she will show
them how to draw the diagram and were to write the name of the thing that they will compare and contrast it.
Time: 15 min

Activity 1
The teacher will explain the whole class activity of the students before they go to their chairs.
Four groups, each group will have two hula hoops, a A4 paper that had a comparing and contrast
sentences of an apple and lettuce. And they will have three card of the words (Both, Apple and Lettuce).

The students have to put the one hula hoops on the other to look like Venn diagram. The they will put the
word both in the medal, Apple on the right side and Lettuce on the left side. Then they will cut the
The teacher will tell the students to come to the mat then she will show them a pencil and a marker. And she
will ask them to compare and contrast between these two picture and they will fill the Venn diagram on the

smart board.

The teacher will go around the student activity.

Reflection

In this lesson the students were engaged because the activities were hand on. But some of the resources were missed
because MST change one activity before the lesson started and I were confused and busy to prepare the resources.
Next step in learning and teaching

The students will write in the Venn diagram then the will write story related to the Venn diagram.
