GP Paper Reflection

Hello, my name is Leon Ellison and I wrote my senior exit paper about Violence in Mass
Media, but specifically should the government restrict content to remove violence from the
media? In order to succeed in this project I had to read articles to get enough information as that
process began, I began to organize a thesis statement. I included enough reasons for my
argument towards my research paper. I felt positive about it, it was a challenge to me writing this
paper. I learned so many things during the process towards this paper. I learned about societal
violence and how it connects to violence in the media and what people thought about it.

I can be honest and say choosing this topic Violence in Mass Media was not difficult to
me. As I started with the research of my topic, I learned that violence in the media has a bigger
effect on young children than on anyone else because they are so impressionable. I choose this
topic without a doubt, I have experience to be with violence in the media I felt I could give a
good view of it. I honestly felt great about this topic as it gave me the chance to learn more
about it and understand what people do about it. The more my research continued the more I
found out additional information and this help me so much on my research paper.

As I move on to the research paper, I found uncomplicated parts that I could do and some
tough parts. One of the most difficult parts I found was bringing out more information and
putting it into my own words I found this parts difficult since I have never really thought about
these kind of things. My experience during this research paper has been a tough and easy
challenge at the same time I found it tough at times because I really had to research and think
about some parts of this research paper . I worked hard to overcome the obstacles that I found
towards this research paper and try as hard as I could.

Choosing my topic was not hard for me , I knew that this topic was the perfect one for
me. Finally after all I found this research paper a great experience for the future , it helped me
think a lot about the topic and how it relates to me. my experiences on this research paper where
excellent , I found a lot of information towards Violence in Mass Media and what is really
behind the Violence. I learn some people think just because you watch violence it means you
yourself become violent and this is not true at all . It gave me the reason to learn more about
Violence in Mass Media .Even though i have had challenges on this paper i have also had some
easy parts too i has challenged me and made me go above what i have done before. My research
paper is a challenge to me and I will do great .
