SUBJECT: Pathway for Students on OJT

Dear Students
The following are your academic obligations for the 4th semester while on OJT.
1. Capstone Project-II is replaced with Field Project: The student will have to prepare a
comprehensive report on the work he has been allotted by the company for which viva voce
will be conducted. The report must be prepared as per the guidelines (Will be sent by e-mail
by 7th March 2017).
2. Online/Offline Course Equivalent: From the following 5 courses students have the option
in two courses to register for an equivalent online/offline certification as per approved list
and in rest three courses he will appear for the ETE. However, student can opt for appearing
in ETE of all courses and not choose the online certifications.
a) The student needs to get the course approved from HOS before registering for the
course.
b) The fee for the online certification will have to be borne by the students. Students
need to take exam of online registered courses in proctored mode.
c) In case student fails to complete the online/offline certifications, he will need to
clear ETE of the prescribed courses.

3. Course Weightage & ETE Pattern:
a) The weightage of the courses is changed from existing Attendance 05, CA 45, ETE 50 to
Attendance 10, CA 40, ETE 50. For CA, in each of the courses, student would be
required to submit 01 term paper which will be evaluated out of 40 marks. The term
paper will be allocated by the concerned faculty member who is teaching that course by
10th March 2017. For attendance students need to submit the attendance report from the
company in sealed envelope duly signed by company official.
b) The ETE question paper will consist of five questions and students are expected to
attempt four questions. [Pattern: Q1 consisting of 05 short answer question, Q2 & Q3
long questions and Q4 & Q5 application based/case study based questions; Q1 will be
compulsory and student will have to attempt any 3 questions out of Q2, Q3, Q4 & Q5] .
The ETE Pattern is tentative and any change will be intimated accordingly.
