Introduction
Luxuriate in the bath with handmade toiletries that delight you with glorious
colors, textures and scent. The advantages of making your own skin care
products are countless and the rewards just as endless. Making your own
toiletries is much more economical than store bought, quality is increased
dramatically, and preparation of most recipes are easy as well as fun. Best of all
clean up is not too work intensive. We find these projects also help bring our
busy families together even for a short time.
Commercial toiletries are often filled with harsh additives, fillers and chemical
that can irritate the skin and cause allergic reactions. In fact very few bars of
soap say the word "soap" any more on the packaging because they have so
many industrial additives in them. Natural toiletries can be expensive to buy, yet
are so easy to make at home with recipes that appeal to you. Handmade soaps
& bath products are becoming increasingly popular. They provide us with a way
to make fun items at home as well as allow us to use a more natural product on
our skin.

When we do order colors for skin safe or craft safe, we do order only the three
primary colors- Red, Blue, and Yellow mixing to obtain other shades. We then
facilitate a color wheel to tell us how many drops of what it takes to achieve a
certain color. We do find some news inventions such as the gem or marble soaps
contain ingredients such as gold mica powder or skin safe glitter. They can be
very cost prohibitive, so we look around for low cost gold eye shadow and
cosmetics of that nature to substitute for such ingredients when possible.
Fragrance is Everything!
Essential oils and extracts are wonderful to have in the home. Be
careful not to add them to materials way too hot or they will evaporate to
some degree. You can make many of your own essential oils and extracts by
using your fresh herbs from the garden and olive oil or sweet almond oil.
Lavender, peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, lemon verbena, chamomile and
rose petals are good herbs to use.
Aromatherapy is an age-old science that uses essential oils, the very essence of
plants, to heal, soothe, and even prevent common conditions. Using only 1%
fragrance is fine for bath products. We used a .25 ounce amount of rosemary
essential oil in a gallon of bubble bath and learned TRUE aromatherapy!
Natural Preservatives
The addition of 1 tsp. preservative per pound of soap paste (Preservative
Suggestions: Vitamin E Oil or Rosemary Extract.) The preservative is to be
added to the soap mixture once it is already diluted. This will prevent the
nutritive value of the ingredients from being destroyed. To super fat liquid soap
(using the recipes that we have provided), add 5 Tablespoons of castor oil to the
diluted liquid soap. Germaben is also good.
10
Making Your Own Essential Oils
Cut up and tightly pack herb leaves or rose petals into a cup measuring cup.
Add to 4 ounces of good olive oil or sweet almond oil.
Use a glass jar for the mixture and let it sit in a cool, dark place for 3-4 weeks.
Be sure the glass jar is tightly capped.
After brewing the oil, put the mixture through a strainer. This will remove
any plant material and will leave the oil clear.
Now the oil is ready to use in potpourri, homemade soap or other herbal
crafts and sundries.

part herb to 3 parts alcohol. You can do this with anything from Vanilla to Mint
Leaves!
After you have done this, cover with tight fitting lid and be sure to place a plastic
bag sandwiched between the lid and the jar. This will prevent rust contamination
from spoiling your extract. Shake well and place the jar in a dark place & allow
the herbs to soak or macerate for 4 to 6 weeks. Shake every few days. The
alcohol will siphon and extract the active constituents from the herbs. After 4 to 6
weeks strain the herbs.
Conditioners are best left to the potato ricer lined with fine mesh cloth or
Pros and probably the most cheesecloth. Then pour into another
difficult of all bath products to large bowl or container. After you have
re-create. At best we drop a done this grab the soggy herbal material
ready store made shampoo and fine cloth and tightly squeeze the
smell. We like rosemary, basil, the cloth. The herbal material left over

out with a little at a time and then add more if you wish. Rub this all between your
hands to mix. Use about a half cup in your bath.
Wash, rinse and dry canning jars. Empty one carton Epsom Salts into large
mixing bowl or batter bowl. Add 3 cups sea salt, stir well. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon
glycerin and 6 to 8 drops essential oil. Mix well. In second large mixing bowl,
empty one carton Epsom Salts, and add 3 cups sea salt. Stir well. Add 1/4
teaspoon glycerin, 6 to 8 drops essential oil, and food color. Stir until completely
blended. Color should be even. tip: use a heavy-duty stand mixer to mix bath
salts easily. Set mixer to lowest setting and mix until color is even--but don't try
this with hand mixers or smaller stand mixers! Holding canning jars at an angle,
layer salts in jars, alternating white and colored mixtures.
****tip: decorative canning jar lids add presentation punch for a small price! Try
red or green gingham lids for Candy Cane Bath Salts, while Peach lids add a
designer touch to Peaches 'n Cream Bath Salts. Find decorative canning jar lids
in the canning section of the supermarket. This recipe makes 12 12-ounce gift

jars, plus a bonus of 3 to 4 cups extra bath salts. Package them in small plastic
zipper craft bags for easy stocking stuffers! Makes 12 gift jars.
Cinnamon Bath Salt Recipe
1 cup kosher salt
1 cup baking soda
3 drops Pine balsam oil
2 drops cinnamon oil
2 drops cassis oil
2 tablespoons of glycerin Mix ingredients together blending well. Break up any
clumps.
Separate salt into two bowls. Add 10 drops of each fragrance oil to each bowl.
Separate the apple salt into two bowls and color one red and one green. Stirring
color and fragrance thru the salt. Separate the orange scented salt into two bowls
and color one yellow and one blue. Stir until well blended. You can put the salt in
lidded containers and shake well (but not too hard) to distribute the color and
fragrance. Spread the salt out on wax paper and allow to dry completely. Layer in
a glass jar. More fragrances can be used if desired (for ex. use 4 instead of just
2).
17
bag closed and mix the salt and oil. Tear potpourri herbs into tiny pieces and add
to the bags (We used lemon verbena, rose petals, lavender. I don' t know why we
tore them except that they did look nicer all mixed with the salts. And, obviously,
we didn't tear the lavender; because it's already tiny! I suppose that larger pieces
could clog up your bath drain, too.) Zip the bag closed and mix until you are
happy with the proportions. Here is where I stopped adding things ... but others
added a drop or two of glycerin to the salts to soften your skin. However, we
were told that anyone who might be using the salts with a Jacuzzi should not use
glycerin in the mixture because it would be bad for the Jacuzzi. Others added the
food coloring to the salts and they turned out pretty, too. I didn't care for the red
colored salts, personally, because the color didn't come out quite pink or red
either. The glycerin and the food coloring will also give the salts a "wet look. "We
were told to keep the salt mixture in the zippy bag and to mix it around once a
day for 2 weeks. Then, we could pour it into the decorated bottles!
18
Honey Bath Salts
1 1/2 cups of Epsom Salts (or rock sea salt)
1/3 cup of honey
2 drops of yellow food coloring
3 drops essential oil (optional, honey gives off a nice scent)
Place salts in a bowl with the honey. Stir them together very well. It will seem a
little sticky. Knead the oil and the color into the salts until well blended. Cover in
bowl for 30 minutes. Spoon into containers. Use 1/4 cup of recipe for each bath,
drop into hot running water. To make a nice gift place the salts into a clear jar
with a cork seal. Seal the cork with some melted wax. You can add a pale yellow
ribbon with a gift tag that lists the ingredients.
Midnight Splendor
2c.rock salt (optional) 5 drops vanilla oil
1/2c.epsom salt 4 drops lavender oil
1/4c.sea salt
19
3 drops cedar wood oil 15-20 drops of blue food coloring
20
Natural Lemon Salt/Sugar Skin Exfoliate
Mix 1/2 cup of salt or sugar to 1 juice of lemon to form a paste. While showing
invigorate your skin with the paste.
21
Ocean Blue Bath Salt
1 cup Epsom salt
1 cup baking soda
4 drops blue food coloring
3 drops Jasmine essential/ fragrance oil
4 drops vanilla essential/ fragrance oil
2 tablespoons liquid glycerin (skin moisturizer) (optional)
Combine dry ingredients, mix well. Add color and scents one at a time. Keep
stirring until mixed well. Break up any clumps. Keep mixing until you have a semi
fine powder. Add glycerin and mix well.
Just mix the dry ingredients well, you may want to sift together. Scoop out about
1/2 cup of mixture to add color and fragrance. Blend well, then add back to entire
mixture and mix til color and fragrance and thoroughly blended. The color in this
will become somewhat darker as it dries. This mixture WILL go in plastic bags
without seeping out. You can use anywhere from 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup for a bath.
Mixture "fizzes' as it hits the water and disperses MUCH quicker than bath salts.
22
Peaches and Cream Bath Salts
12 tall jelly (12-ounce) canning jars with lid and rings
2 4-pound cartons Epsom Salts (approximately 16 cups)
4 pounds sea salt or Kosher salt (approximately 6 cups)
1/2 teaspoon glycerin, divided
12 to 15 drops peach essential oil
12 to 15 drops orange food color
2 pieces cardstock (for tags)
****tip: decorative canning jar lids add presentation punch for a small price! Try
red or green gingham lids for Candy Cane Bath Salts, while Peach lids add a
designer touch to Peaches 'n Cream Bath Salts. Find decorative canning jar lids
in the canning section of the supermarket.
This recipe makes 12 12-ounce gift jars, plus a bonus of 3 to 4 cups extra bath
salts. Package them in small plastic zipper craft bags for easy stocking stuffers!
Makes 12 gift jars.
23
Relaxing Bath Formula
1 cup Epsom Salt
1 cup Dead Sea Salt
1 cup Sea Salt
20 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
20 drops of soap dye optional
Add desired amount to running bathwater.
Salt Glow
This recipe is far too easy for the remarkable benefits it gives. Again, it is the
simple gifts of life that are often the best. Salt glow is one of my favorite
exfoliating treatments. It leaves the skin feeling silky soft and renewed, relaxed
but refreshed. For Lemon Kitchen Cleansing Balm you can add salt and lemon
oil in our balm recipes and pour into a rubber mason lid jar!
24
Salt Glow Recipe
Similar recipes are a favorite treatment at many famous and expensive spas. But
it's so wonderfully simple, inexpensive, and easy to do that you should try it at
home. Invite a friend over for a "salt glow exchange." It's nicest to do it outside
where you can rinse off the salt and not worry about getting it everywhere. For
best storage, place in a cool area.
1. Place salt in a wide mouthed jar and cover with grape seed, apricot, or almond
oil. Scent with essential oil.
2. To use, dampen your entire body. Using either your hands or a loofa mitt,
vigorously but gently massage the salt and oil mixture into the skin. Begin at the
feet and work upward in a circular motion. Be careful to avoid any scratched or
wounded areas. When you have massaged the entire body, rinse with warm
water. Finish with a dry-towel rub.
25
Rosemary Bath Salts
1/4 cup borax
1/2 cup Epsom salts
1/8 cup sea salt
1 tablespoon orange peel
2 tablespoons rose petals
1 tablespoon rosemary
5 drops rosemary essential oil
3 drops rose geranium essential oil
Crush your dried herbs if they haven't been already. Combine all ingredients into
a jar and mix well. Keep jar tightly closed until use. If you prefer not to have to
clean your tub of herbs afterwards, simply place amount desired for use into a
cloth bag before adding to your tub water. Keeps for up to one year if properly
stored in a cool, dark place.
NOTES : This makes a wonderful gift when poured in a decorative glass bottle.
When selecting an oil for scent, read warnings about use. Some oils are not
intended to have direct contact with skin.
26
Simple Bath Salts
1 part baking soda
2 parts Epsom salt
3 parts sea salt
Mix it all in a big bowl, then put in a large zip lock freezer bag along with a tiny
amount of powdered pigment. Then I shake until the color is dispersed. It colors
the salts wonderfully with no clumps. If you do live somewhere humid, mix in a
little glycerin to help with the clumping.
In a bowl, mix together the salt and the herbs. Add the peppermint and
eucalyptus essential oils and mix well until oils are evenly distributed. Store salts
in a tightly closed container.
Usage: Place 1-2 tablespoons in your bath water. Concentrate on deeply inhaling
the fragrance as it surrounds you. Enjoy!
27
Summer Orchard Bath Salts
3/4 c. Epsom salts
1/4 c. sea salts
1/4 c. baking soda
3 drops peach fragrance oil
3 drops bergamot oil
2 drops vanilla fragrance oil
1 drop lime oil
Mix all ingredients and stir until blended. Use about 1/4 cup in a your bath.
Sweet Orange
1c.epsom salts
1/4c.sea salts
10 drops of yellow food coloring
5 drops of red food coloring
10 drops of orange fragrance oil

Other Considerations for Body Essentials
Chamomile - soothing and cleansing
Comfrey - rejuvenating
Lovage - deodorizing and cleansing
Lady's mantle - soothes skin irritation
Black tea - relieving sunburn pain

TIP: Always keep a note pad by your side to write down what did work out well!
Chances are when experimenting you will forget how you did that!
Bath Bombs
How to Make Bath Bombs?
Making your own bath bombs, for instance, is so easy and is basically made up
of one part baking soda to one part citric acid, a little cornstarch and
fragrance oil. We recommend again, you use a hand mixer because a blender
will fog your plastic. When you are done with your mixture it should be clumpy
and you can press vary hard into uniform hand made snow balls or press VERY
firmly into a heart or round shaped soap mold
"My favorite, is a Therapy Bath Bomb, which you can substitute in the above
recipe the warming oils of ginger and mustard powder, along with coriander,
clove and cinnamon."
29
Bath Bombs
Equal parts: Citric acid, baking soda, cornstarch
Witch hazel
Mix dry ingredients together. Spritz lightly with witch hazel and stir quickly.
Repeat spritzing and stirring until the mixture begins to stick together. Pack into
molds and pop out onto wax paper. Let dry for 24 hours before using.
Bath Kisses
2 oz cocoa butter
2 oz baking soda
2 oz citric acid
2 oz whole milk powder (goat's milk powder is good)
1 oz finely ground oatmeal
Fragrance as desired (try 1/2 - 3/4 tsp of essential or fragrance oil)
Melt cocoa butter and add scent. If you are melting this on the stove top, use a
double boiler or water bath (a canning jar in a saucepan of water works well, just
make sure you put the jar in the pan before heating the water!!) Microwave is
fine, but don't put your essential oils in there.
Combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then drizzle the melted cocoa
butter over the dry mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Pack into molds or shape into balls. If you're in a hurry, put them in the freezer for
a few minutes. Otherwise, they will harden just fine at room temperature.
Wrapping them with candy foils works great.
30
Chocolate Tub Truffles
These are decadent and sinful when you or a friend need extra pampering and
best of all, without the calories! We package them in an old fashioned
cookie/candy jar for gift giving!
Spray dry materials with a little witch hazel, mix all ingredients and mold into little
snow balls.
Did you know Rose Fragrance Oil and Vanilla Fragrance Oil makes the
scent of Baby Powder? It does!
31
Fizzing Bath Bombs
1 cup baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons of cocoa or shea butter
1 tablespoon oil (your choice: coconut, sweet almond, jojoba, apricot,
macadamia, etc.)
1 teaspoon essential oil or fragrance oil
sprayer bottle with witch hazel
Blend baking soda, cornstarch, and citric acid together in a glass or stainless
steel bowl. Add melted shea or cocoa butter and essential oil. (You can also
replace the essential oil with a fragrance oil if you prefer. Spritz mixture with the
witch hazel until the mixture clumps together when you squeeze it. Pack tightly
into molds or form balls with your hands. (Using a mold will produce a harder,
better ball if you compact it well. You can use ice cube trays if you don't have any
soap or candy molds available.) Release onto wax paper and allow to air dry
overnight. Wrap. Keep dry until use.
32
Fizzling Bath Bombs
1/4 c. baking soda
2 T. cornstarch
2 T. citric acid
1T. coconut, almond, avocado or apricot kernel oil
1/2 T. water
3-6 drops of liquid colorant (optional)
1/4 tsp. fragrance oil or essential oil of your choice
Put all dry ingredients into a bowl - mix well. Melt oil and add fragrance and
colorant. Slowly add the oil mixture to the dry ingredients - mix well. Shape into
small balls (about 1 in. in diameter). Let them rest on waxed paper for 2-3 hours;
reshape if needed. Let them harden for 24-48 hours. Store in a closed container.
Use 1-3 bath bombs in warm bath water.
Mix dry ingredients together. Mix liquid oil and water and drizzle onto dry
ingredients slowly while stirring together. Shape into balls and let dry 24-48
hours.
33
Scented Bath Bombs
1 1/2 cups baking soda
1/2 cup citric acid
8 drops essential oil - your choice of scent
1 tsp. sweet almond oil
2 drops food coloring - your choice of color-Combine all ingredients.
NOTES : Fizzes when dropped in water. When selecting an oil for scent, read
warnings about use. Some oils are not intended to have direct contact with skin.
Sieve all dry ingredients. Mix oil, water, borax, and scent in a jar - make sure to
shake well. Drizzle this mixture onto the dry ingredients and then work it in with
your hands. Press into a mold and then carefully pop them out. Let set for at
least 24 hours to be totally hardened.
34
Spiced Yin and Yang Bath Bombs
We suggest a 4 ounce round (dome) mold for this beauty. You would place a few
small chunks of cinnamon sticks or star anise in the mold before packing the
following ingredients1 Cup of Baking Soda
1 Cup of Citric Acid
1/4 Cup of Cornstarch
20 Drops of Vanilla Oil
1 teaspoon powdered Clove
1 teaspoon powdered Star Anise
1 teaspoon powdered Cardamom
Slight spray of witch hazel
Mix together and pack in molds.
Mix all ingredients in a clean bowl until you have a smooth paste. Gently
massage onto damp skin, and rinse off with warm water. You can triple the
recipe for a fantastic smoothing body treatment.
Ground Oats: use rolled oats and a clean coffee grinder or blender to grind the
flakes to a fine powder
36
Salt Scrub Body Polish
1/2 T Lecithin
3 T Sweet Almond Oil (or any skin friendly light oil)
1 400 IU Vitamin E
1/4 C Sea Salt (you can add more salt if you want a thicker scrub)
Plumeria FO--20 Drops (or FO of your preference)
1. Mix Lecithin and sweet almond together in small sauce pan over LOW HEAT

Milk Baths
Buttermilk Bath
Our buttermilk bath is one of the most luxurious mixtures we make and
probably the most simple of all! All you need is three cups of dried buttermilk
to three cups of Epsom salts along with an ounce of your favorite fragrance
oil and mix well and keep airtight. We suggest using a hand mixer because
anytime you use a blender it will permanently fog the inside of the clear plastic
container used in blending.
Suggested Fragrance: Vanilla is our FAVORITE!
Blend all in a Ziploc. For each 2 oz. of mix, I put in 1 ml. Herbal essential oils.
This is milliliter not part on the essential oil. It is not very much. You can
substitute fragrance oils or other essential oils but will have to use judgment on
how much. Remember also that not fragrance or essential oils are sensible to
use in baths. Check with someone who knows if you are not sure first since a
person will be soaking in them.
Note: You can make in the quantity you desire: (example a 'part' can be one tsp.,
one T., one cup, one bucketful, etc.)

taught. We find it easier to add the wick just after we pour.
2. Melt the soy wax in the microwave until it is clear. Wait until it cools
down to about 110 degrees to pour so it will look creamy.
3. Add your fragrance oils in before it cools down too much. of Almond

worry about color because the color you get will appear to be almond! If your
container is 8 ounces, just reduce the wax and fragrance accordingly.
Talk about easy and sinful! This milk dry powder combination is ever so simple
to make. Just add a few drops of Almond Fragrance oil and just a touch of
cinnamon (oil or powder) to 1/3 cup of Epsom salts and 1/3 cup of Dried
Buttermilk and 1/3 cup of Dried Milk and you are done. Mix very well. Store
salts in a air tight container, even if in a sachet, this will keep your fragrance oil
from dissipating. For a fizzy bath add a little citric acid. You can also add a
little vitamin e oil to the fragrance oil. To use: Pour 2 heaping tablespoons
under your warm running bath water.

Apple Walnut Nut Lip Balm

an ounce, so be frugal when you drop oil into them. This project will not take
long.

Apple Bath Bombs
(Each pound of material makes about 4 Bombs)
Making your own bath bombs, for instance, is so easy and is basically made up
of one part baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to one part citric acid, a little
cornstarch and fragrance oil. We recommend again, you use a hand mixer
because a blender will fog your plastic. When you are done with your mixture it
should be clumpy and you can press vary hard into uniform hand made snow
balls or press VERY firmly into a heart or round shaped soap mold. The grade
of citric acid is very important. The higher the grade the more bang for your
buck. *Use just enough Apple Fragrance Oil to make it clumpy. Color is
optional. A little Paprika can help with the color. Do not use water based
products or extracts. They are not oil based and will cause spontaneous
combustion. Shrink wrap when done to prevent moisture from affecting your
balm.
65
Matching Chocolate Bath Truffles
(One pound makes 8 small truffles)
Making your own chocolate bath truffles is very easy. Like making bath bombs,
the formula is one part baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) to one part citric
acid, a little cornstarch and fragrance oil. We recommend Chocolate and
vanilla fragrance oils for this. If you want to achieve a chocolate color, add a little
cocoa powder and allspice. Again, use a hand mixer because a blender will fog
your plastic. When you are done with your mixture it should be clumpy and you
can press vary hard into uniform hand made small snow balls or press VERY
firmly into a heart or round shaped soap mold. The grade of citric acid is very
important. The higher the grade the more bang for your buck. *Use just
enough Fragrance Oil to make it clumpy. Do not use water based products or
extracts. They are not oil based and will cause spontaneous combustion.
Another easy yet sinful recipe! This milk dry powder combination is ever so
simple to make. Just add a few drops of Chocolate Fragrance oil and just a
touch of vanilla (oil or powder) to 1/3 cup of Epsom salts and 1/3 cup of Dried
Buttermilk and 1/3 cup of Dried Milk and you are done. Mix very well. Store
salts in a air tight container, even if in a sachet, this will keep your fragrance oil

little vitamin e oil to the fragrance oil. To use: Pour 2 heaping tablespoons
under your warm running bath water.

come out to be shiny bars if you pop them in the freezer just before taking them
out of the mold. It is best to shrink wrap these soaps so moisture will not ruin

Darjeeling Chai
Chai is so sophisticated yet simple. The Darjeeling Chai fragrance oil is best
suited for soy candles, milk baths and bombs as well as bath oils. Any lip balm
matched with Chai should include Vanilla and Honey flavor oil, and just a touch
of nutmeg and cinnamon oils. These spices can also be used to speckle your
bath bombs and a half of a cinnamon stick to adorn a bath bomb.
Darjeeling is the finest of black teas from eh Himalayas. The only water based
item you may extract the tea for would be melt and pour soap. Here you may
also want to use Vanilla and a little honey fragrance oil along with cinnamon and
nutmeg for color. There are VERY pretty molds available with oriental characters
that stand for Love, Peace, and other expressions that would fit this soap theme
just perfect.
70
French Roast Coffee Candle and Cooks Bar
Is another excellent but limited in theme fragrance oil. Men like the smell of
coffee as does everyone else, so we recommend this in the form of a serious soy
candle, perhaps complimented with a bar of soap designed for the kitchen.
Coffee is well known the get the smell of garlic and onions off the hands of a
cook. We like to make the soap in two layers, white melt and pour with a little
vanilla and the second layer with coffee grinds to color.

you pop them in the freezer just before taking them out of the mold. It is best to
shrink wrap these soaps so moisture will not ruin them. You can press a REAL
sun flower emblem into the middle of the finished soap! We like to melt a little
cold cream and mix that into the soap.

Vanilla Macadamia Nut Lip Balm
Makes 10 Ounce Containers
Have your containers open and ready. The clam shell compacts only hold .08 of
an ounce, so be frugal when you drop oil into them. This project will not take
long.
1 Ounce of Soy Wax
1 Ounce of Macadamia Nut Oil
1/8 Ounce 100% Beeswax Chips or Beads
A few drops of Vanilla flavor oil, just a little works!
A little honey or vitamin e-oil added to the oil when hot is optional
Melt the beeswax in a disposable plastic cup for a minute in the microwave as it
is the longest to melt, and then add soy wax and continue to melt just a few
seconds longer, stirring with a thin stick until clear. Make sure the cup does not
melt! Add the Macadamia Nut oil and stir, flavoring to taste. Using a pipette,
drop into containers and you are done. They will cool within an hour. If you want
to make Chap Stick use 75% Soy wax to 25% Macadamia Nut Oil. You may
want to make matching vanilla bath bombs.
1. Have your container and wick ready. Using a pencil to hold the wick
taught. We find it easier to add the wick just after we pour.
2. Melt the soy wax in the microwave until it is clear. Wait until it cools down
to about 110 degrees to pour so it will look creamy.
3. Add your fragrance oils in before it cools down too much. of Vanilla
fragrance oil is more than enough for a 16 ounce jar of soy wax. You need not
worry about color because the color you get will appear to be vanilla!
