OUM e-Tutor Self-Review Form

Self-Review forms are used to help e-Tutors reflect on their experience facilitating online at
OUM. Self-Review forms also provide a means for e-Tutors to discover and focus on their
strengths and weaknesses as an online facilitator.

I posted a personal and welcoming introduction in the forum to develop personel
presence and I clearly introduced myself
I encouraged learners to post their introductions and share experiences.
I communicated clearly on my expectations of the learners
I contacted learners via email to introduce myself and announce my availability to
provide help in the forum
I logged in to myVLE frequently (i.e. 3 times or more per week)
I checked the forum frequently (i.e. every two days) as expected by OUM
I was visible in the forum and posted at least 8 postings a week as expected by
OUM
I addressed all learners inquiries and concerns within 48 hrs, as expected by OUM
I addressed all questions related to course assignment in a timely manner, within 48
hours, as expected by OUM
I contacted learners via email/phone to encourage participation
I maintained professionalism in the forum and in any communication with learners
via email
I was very active in the forum and participated regularly in forum discussions
