The Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP) anticipates receiving a
contract to assist with co-facilitating a quality improvement (QI) process known as AFIX
(Assessment, Feedback, Incentives and Information eXchange) with healthcare providers serving
children and adolescents throughout the City of Chicago. The Project Coordinator will pro-
actively take the lead in scheduling group and individual sessions with project participants in an
in-person and virtual meeting space. The Coordinator will utilize a shared calendar to schedule
clinic sessions and virtual sessions. There will be a total of 100 Chicago area health clinics
participating in a 17-month project (May 2017 to September 2018) on an aggressive and

Teamwork Englewood is looking to fill a Program Manager position. The position of Program
Manager for the Englewood Quality of Life Plan (QLP) involves working with a broad range of
community stakeholders in the Greater Englewood community and throughout Chicago in order
to collaboratively plan and implement projects that will have a positive impact in the
neighborhood. This position requires an independent thinker with knowledge of project
management principles, grant writing and planning. Bachelor degree in Urban Planning, Social

Lawndale Christian Legal Center is looking to fill a MAC House Director position. The MAC
House Director will work with LCLCs Executive Director to grow the MAC House program.
MAC House is a small residential program that provides social supports, hard-skill trainings,
union placement, and employment with major contractors for young men in North Lawndale,
ages 18-24, who have come through the criminal justice system. Residents are expected to live in
the MAC House for 2-3 years as they complete hard and soft skill trainings, gain
manufacturing/factory, manual labor and construction experience, and seek personal
development through weekly support circles, case management, financial management classes,
mentoring, and individual counseling. LCLCs MAC House is a new program that was piloted
with a small group of young men in October 2015. Two of those young men currently work in
the laborers union for major construction companies. A third young man works as a general
laborer for a local non-union construction company. The MAC House Director will continue to

Chicago Torture Justice Center is seeking a collaborative, experienced, and passionate


Program Manager to lead case management and programming at the Chicago Torture Justice
Center (CTJC). Formed following a generations-long campaign against racially motivated police
torture that culminated in the Chicago City Councils historic passage of reparations legislation,
CTJC will open May of 2017. The Program Manager implements Center programming and
provides case management services to the Center participants. Services include linkage and
referral to community based services, assistance with public benefits attainment and ensuring
access to the Reparations Ordinance services package. The Program Manager will work
collaboratively with torture survivors and the wider community to implement additional pieces
of the reparation package including providing support to torture survivors on the
implementation of the Burge curriculum in Chicago Public Schools and the creation of a public
