You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand of
visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Times Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is

Rome is a city and capital of
Italy, is the most populous
municipality of Italy, is one of the
most important ancient
civilizations. The city has a
population about three million
inhabitants. There are many
places to stay in Rome such as
the coliseum of the ancient city
of Rome, the basilica cathedral
of San Pietro, the monument of
San Clemente, the Galleria
Alberto Sordi shopping center. In
the image you can see the Saint
Peters Square, it is located in
the city of the vatican next to

Edinburgh is the capital and a

University of Edinburgh. Arthur's

city. From there, you will see

Edinburgh, such as Castle or

 Dubai is one of the seven
emirates that make up the
United Arab Emirates, whose
capital is the city of the same
name. It is located on the coast
of the Persian Gulf, in the
Arabian desert. Dubai is home to
several notable buildings and
infrastructure such as the Burj Al
Arab and Burj Khalifa luxury
hotels, the highest in the world,
with a height of 828 m, the ports
of Mina Rashid and Jebel Ali,
Dubai (United Arab Emirates) The Burj and the artificial islands housing
Khalifa estate The World And The Palm
Islands. And found within the
desert of Arabia. In the picture
you can see the Burj Khalifa is a
skyscraper located in Dubai
(United Arab Emirates). With 828
meters of height, is the highest
structure of which it has record
in the history.
