I
n this project, I felt likeI
learned a lot about being
a good listener, and to be
able to generate ideas that
communicate similar themes
my par tner was giving me
insight to. I wanted to take
the approach of hand drawing
the images that I would use
for me final design, which is
not typically how I would star t
a design. It was a learning
exercise for me that showed

me how impor tant it is to think
through ideas I might have.
I feel like the clouds in my piece
are working, I tried to use scale
and hues of gray to show the
denseness in the fog/clouds.
With more time I would have
worked on the words a bit more,
try to play with scale and how
they blend into the environment.
Overall I feel the piece was
successful in communicating
the central theme.

he calling intention
project was a true life
pivoting experience for
me. It was difficult at first to
get my head around what it was
I was trying to define. When
the intention came to surface, I
was pleased with what I learned
about my self and how my
talents can be put to good use.
For the poster, I wanted to really
tie in the light that immigrants
bring to this country, so I

used the sun as an object that
represents warmth. I feel the
piece had a lot of movement
which helps the views move
around the piece, the color also
aids the eye to move around
with the use of the gradient.
With more time I would have
liked to keep working on the text
and how it flows with the rest
of the sun rays. Overall the
work is intense and has a lot of
energy in it.

he group project was fun.
To be able to think up a
nonprofit organization
that deals with the awareness
of water. Our team was able to
think through various ideas and
come up with a dynamic way to
show the duality of water, both
its peaceful, loving state and
the side of it that is possible
of destruction.
As a group, we were able
to overcome differences in

views and fuse together a
great looking logo and identity
package that captured the
essence of the dualism in water.
With more time we could have
spent more time on the website
and other possibilities for
our ar tifact.
Overall I feel like the project
was very successful regarding
quality and sticking to
our question..
