RE: Clare Rose, Inc. / Six Roses, LLC
Dear Mr. Supervisor:
1am in receipt of your letter of May 17, 2017 regarding the subject project. As you may be
aware, on an annual (calendar year) basis, the Brookhaven IDA asks each project to confirm
their employment levels with supporting evidence of the State Labor Department's form 45. We
also request similar information at the time of application as a starting point. With regard to
Clare Rose, at the time of application (2007), their ownership committed to employment of 177
employees and as of December 31, 2016, there were 192 employees on the payroll,
It is important that we maintain a consistent position with all of our projects, and in that regard,
we will request a mid-year employment review of each project including a request for the June
30, 2017 Department of Labor form 45. If any project is in violation of the job levels promised
and to the extent our agreements permit, I will recommend that the Board consider taking action,
to amend or possibly clawback previously granted benefits.
Sincerely,
Dut Gorm
