Registered nurse (RNs) perform many jobs. RN's provide and coordinate patient care, educate
patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional
support to patients and their family members. Registered nurse has multiple duties which are
monitoring record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions , maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records, record patients' medical information and vital signs, order,
interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition, modify patient
treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions, direct or supervise less-
skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit, consult and coordinate
with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care
plans,monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity,Instruct individuals,
families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, or childbirth
and develop health improvement programs, and prepare patients for and assist with
examinations or treatments. I became interested in this field when I was around the age of eight
or nine years old. My mother inspired me to want to become a nurse. Seeing her in her scrubs
made me want to wear them when I got older. She took me to her job sometimes and I really
communication skills , polite , kind , caring , non judgemental , I have all of these aspects that's
why this career fits me, Helping people that's ill is what is beyond important to me. RN
education degree requirements range from a diploma to a bachelor's degree. Diploma programs
are offered at hospitals and typically last three years. Associate's degrees in nursing are offered
In terms of a daily schedule registered nurses can often be found working 5-8 hour days, 4-
10 hour days or 3-12 hour days per week. RN's that work 8 or 10 hour days typically work about
40 hours or so per week, however nurses that work 12 hour days may end up working around

perfect career for me. I have an innate desire to help people and care for them in times of need.
I am also a person who thrives on being challenged and I always have new goals to achieve, so
nursing will suit me as few other careers offer as much diversity and learning opportunities.The
shifts may get long and certain aspects of the job will inevitably become routine, but i don't think the
life of a nurse is ever boring. Whether i'm working out of a hospital, a private practice or a palliative
care center, I would have to be ready to respond to just about anything at a moment's notice.
I need to be in a fast-paced work environment. In nursing, every day should be different, so there's
always something new to figure out. Working as a nurse should keeps me on my toes. I hope to
accomplish a lot working threw out this field is finding myself as a person. I want to be able to help
millions of ill people I want to be able to help anyone that come to the ER !
