 Complete Air-Handling Capability
Paramax PM4, PM3 and PM2 Series luminaires can be
specified with any combination of air function desired,
including air supply/air return; heat extract; combination
supply/return/removal ; and static.
Air is delivered and extracted through slots concealed in
a full-perimeter black reveal. Heat also can be extracted
through the lamp cavity. Air pattern control blades are
standard on PM4 and PM3 models, optional on PM2.

System Description
The Lithonia Fluorescent Emergency Lighting System
is a self-contained fluorescent unit inverter that can be
factory-installed in the channel of most Lithonia
fixtures using slimline or40-Watt rapid start lamps. The
system powers one lamp in the fixture at emergency
level for a minimum of 90 minutes upon failure or
interruption of normal power. lncluded are a "ready"
light to indicate charging condition and a test switch to
simulate loss of power.
Batteries are sealed, spillproof, rechargeable and
maintenance-free, and the battery system is separate
from the inverter for economicalfield replacement. The
regulated, solid-state charger keeps the battery
system fully charged and recharges a depleted battery
pack in 24 hours. Solid-state, digital, low-level
switching between normal and emergency modes
eliminates mechanical relays, which are subject to
contact oxidation and mechanical malfunction.

Fixture can be wired into building circuit two ways: supplied by night-lighting circuit designed to be permanently
