Greetings of Peace!

The Rotaract Club of WMSU, a registered Campus Organization of

Western Mindanao State University together with other young volunteers and
partners will be conducting a Medical Mission and Distribution of School
Supplies on May 7, 2017 at Sto. Nio Elementary School, Sitio Migasa, Brgy
Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.

The project initially aims to gather school supplies such as notebooks,

pens, bags and rubber shoes etc for the 110 pupils of Sto.Nio Elementary
School in Sitio Migasa. The said beneficiaries, who need to cross rivers
everyday just to go to schools, are children of farmers and peasants who only
depend on good harvest to provide the needs of their families.

As we visited the area we had personally witnessed the social

conditions of the people particularly the lack school materials and facilities,
decent livelihood, health care services and facilities among others. The
residents need to walk for two to three hours and cross approximately twenty
rivers just to reach the national highway and buy for their necessities.

It is with this reason that we intend to write to you to respectfully ask

for you support in providing the necessary school supplies for this children
such as Notebooks, crayons, pencils, papers, eraser , sharpeners, books and
other necessary materials.
