of the week, the team with the most points will be awarded the
official 2017 OGT Price.

• Take a picture of your team in front of a
Golden Rectangle in Delphi, Athens and
Mykonos. Only one picture per
destination. (1 Point each)
• Take a picture of everyone in your group
in front of a full size Greek flag. (1 Point
per flag)
• Take a picture of everyone in your group
standing in front of two eagles in honour
of Zeus’s method of location. (1 Point)

Collect photos of polygons in Delphi

o Triangle (3 points)
o Quadrilateral (4 points)
o Pentagon (5 points) and so on…..

Points for each shape are only

allowed once per each team.

• Use mathematics to estimate the area of

the Temple of Athena. (5 Points)
• Estimate or the value of Phi using a
Golden Rectangle. (5 Points) Written

• Test the pH level of the Aegean Sea.

paper from Ms Harold. (5 points)
• Travel by inflatable banana. (10
points)
• Create a giant Golden Spiral on the
beach. (10 points available to the
team with the biggest spiral).
• Create a human right angled triangle
(5 points)
• Sing in Greek while travelling by boat.

• Take a picture of the entire group in
front of a statue depicting a
mathematician or scientist. (2 points)
• Record a time-lapse video of an island
sunset. (15 points)
• Interview a member of the hotel staff
about life on Mykonos. (5 Points)
• Take a picture of an animal and find
the correct scientific name for that
animal. e.g. Brown Bear – Ursus
Arctos. (2 points per animal)
