Lorris Betz,” as well as “the most recent annual budget” of the Huntsman Cancer Hospital (“HCH”). As you may know, the University, as a governmental entity of the State of Utah, is subject to the Government Records ‘Access and Management Act, Utah Code sections 63G-2-101 to -901 (“GRAMA”). With respect to your request for employment contracts, we have searched the University’ files and gathered together responsive and public documents from those files. The documents consist of 4 pages. The reasonable fee for documents responsive to most GRAMA requests is $0.25 per copy. Therefore, your cost to obtain the enclosed documents will be One Dollar and Zero Cents ($1.00). Under GRAMA, a governmental entity may require payment of past fees and future estimated fees before beginning to process a request if the requester has not paid fees from previous requests. /d. at § 63G-2-203(8)(a)(i). We are in receipt of your cash payment in the amount of $30.00 as payment for your March 8, 2017, March 22, 2017, April 24, 2017, April 26, 2017 and May 2, 2017 open records requests. As stated in our letters to you dated March 8, 2017, April 21, 2017, May 16, 2017, May 1, 2017 and May 10, 2017 the reasonable fees for those documents were $4.75, $1.00, $1.00, $13.00 and $10.00 respectively, for a total of $29.75. The remaining $0.25 of your cash payment will be applied to the enclosed documents. Although GRAMA permits the University to assess a fee to cover the University’s cost of providing a record, in this instance the University has elected to waive the remaining $0.75 associated with production of the enclosed documents. Utah Code Ann. § 63G-2-203(1). With respect to the remainder of your request, the University generally has ten business days to respond to requests for government records. Id. § 63G-2-204(3), However, the University is currently processing a large number of records requests. See id. §§ 63G-2-204(3)(by(iv) & - 204(5)(d).
