Skeletal muscle Lab report

The rabbit muscle lab was a lab where it was tested to see if the muscles would contract if ATP solution
was drop on it. When preparing the muscle fiber, the fibers were gently separated to create multiple rabbit
fibers. Then the muscle fibers were under the microscope and measured. Then a screenshot was before
adding the ATP solution..This would be the before ATP solution picture. When adding the ATP the rabbit
muscle did contract and it pulled apart more and the muscle when from straight to curve. There were
different kinds of curves. One part of the muscle was curved off the other part of the muscle making it a
big curve. screenshot of the new rabbit muscle and measured it with a curve ruler since the new muscle
was now curved. The data shows that the measurements went down . most of the muscles were equal by
15mm but shrank down to 12mm and 9mm.There were many,many,many problems.The rabbit muscle
was small and fragile so it was very hard to remember which was use to take a screenshot.Then it could
not be measured right if it was very curved.Another problems were measurements. Measurements were a
big problem. If it was not measured on the dish.Then it had to be measured on the computer screen which
did not give accurate measurements. Included in the lab report was the macro pictures of the mink
muscles. They are muscle in the arms, legs thoracic and chest and the Pectoral Region.It is cinclouded
that if the Mink muscle had drops of ATP solutions on them, the mink muscle would contract like the
rabbit muscles.
